Notepad appends ".txt" to file names it looks for
The program I'm using is 4NEC2, a freeware antenna-modelling program. I'm running wine-0.9.61 on Gentoo Linux on a Dell with Intel Core Duo cpu. Let's say I'm working on a design that I call "fubar". 4NEC2 will create files with names like "fubar.NEC" and "fubar.log". 4NEC uses Notepad to open the files for viewing. For some reason, my system

Moving a pool from FreeBSD 8.0 to opensolaris
I was wondering what the best method of moving a pool from FreeBSD 8.0 to OpenSolaris is. When i originally built my system, it was using hardware which wouldn''t work in opensolairs, but i''m about to do an upgrade so i should be able to use Opensolaris when i''m done. My current system uses a Highpoint RocketRaid 2340. It has 12 1TB hard drives an intel core2 quad

gnophone
I am having a really hard time getting gnophone working with asterisk. Gnophone tries to register with my server but there is no response. I can direct incoming calls to gnophone but if gnophone answers them, asterisk does not recognize it. Here is my configuration: iax.conf [jambo] type=user host=dynamic defaultip=136.159.99.100 permit=136.159.99.100 username=jambo secret=fubar

puppet with launchd - problem with hostname
Hi, We''re having a problem with our puppet install on our mac''s. We''ve setup a launchd plist following the instructions at: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/projects/puppet/wiki/Puppet_With_Launchd The problem we''re having is that when the mac initially boots, it''s hostname is fubar.local - after the networking starts up, the hostname becomes

ls says: /tank/ws/fubar: Operation not applicable
Anyone know why my ZFS filesystem might suddenly start giving me an error when I try to "ls -d" the top of it? i.e.: ls -d /tank/ws/fubar /tank/ws/fubar: Operation not applicable zpool status says all is well. I''ve tried snv_139 and snv_137 (my latest and previous installs). It''s an amd64 box. Both OS versions show the same problem. Do I need to run a scrub? (will

OpenSolaris 2009.06 in stub (hvm) domain at Xen 3.4.1 Dom0 with 2.6.30 vs 2.6.29.4 xenified kernel
Andy, OSOL 2009.06 been installed in stub domain (hvm domain) at mentioned Dom0 with 2.6.30 xenified kernel via xen-patches-2.6.30-2.tar.bz2 refuse to activate PV drivers. When same Dom0 starts with 2.6.29.4 xenified kernel (xen-patches-2.6.29-6.tar.bz2) kernel OSOL 2009.06 in stub (hvm) domain does activate PV drivers for xdf, xnf . Boris

[LLVMdev] Chaining Atoms together
Hi Nick, Thanks for your reply. The usecase here is just trying to construct a valid ELF. The lld linker needs to handle all sorts of code written in assembly as well as 'C'. The usecase is just one example of it. I have also seen similiar code in http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/arch/powerpc/kernel/head_32.S?a=powerpc which has global and local labels. You are right, that the

[LLVMdev] missed optimizations
It turns out to be pretty easy to use our random program generator to search for missed optimizations by generating highly restricted programs that are equivalent to "return 0" or similar, and then checking that LLVM properly evaporates the code. The result will be a lot of bug reports like this: http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=3740 Daniel says this is a boring phase

OpenSolaris 2009.06 - ZFS Install Issue
I''ve installed Open Solaris 2009.06 on a machine with 5 identical 1TB wd green drives to create a ZFS nas. The intended install is one drive dedicated to the OS and the remaining 4 drives in a raidz1 configuration. The install is working fine, but creating the raidz1 pool and rebooting is causing the machine report "Cannot find active partition" upon reboot. Below is command

Nut-upsdev Digest, Vol 88, Issue 22
?Hello everybody, just a few notes to the doxygen X man issue: 1/ AFAIK doxygen can generate man pages, so why don't we just generate them and decide then whether they are ill fitted or usable... 2/ I'd definitely use doxygen when possible; I mean I don't know any alternative that's able to do (at least partial) validation of the documentation with the source 3/ I

Doc for PJSIP ICE support ?
Thanks Joshua for replying ! What would you advise : - leaving STUN address empty, in rtp.conf, as "STUN is not required for ICE" - configure it with one public STUN (I'm using stun.voip.ovh.net for this but I don't know how this server really works) Cheers Le mar. 27 oct. 2020 à 09:53, Joshua C. ICE
Hello, I have an Asterisk server with a public IP address and a bunch of clients. Most of my clients are behind NATs (sometimes two clients are behind the same NAT i.e in the same private network). I want to use ICE so that the clients behind the same NAT can send RTP traffic directly to each other and other clients use Asterisk or a TURN server. I tested a specific scenario using two Linphone 3.7

OpenSSH 4.0p1 segfaults on keyboard-interactive login
Hi folks, I've compiled the new OpenSSH 4.0p1 on my Linux box running Fedora Core 2 (kernel 2.6.10) the same way as I did with 3.9p1 and all previous versions. Key-based login works fine, but if I login from a host that require me to enter my login password (keyboard-interactive), then the sshd child process segfaults. Don't know if this is specific to my system or to Linux in general.
