I have even developed, setup configured, a media server, or two, and many many dedicated, or otherwise hosting servers, and by either blind luck and chance found them to actually work once I was done. Question over broadcasting using icecast server
Hallo everyone in the Icecast project. First of all i want to apologize in case this message should not be in this list but i believe this is the place to answer my question. I know only a little about icecast server. I would like to build up a live radio station. The concept is something like : the server is set up in some place and all producers broadcast themselves from their place, so

[LLVMdev] AVX broadcast Vs. vector constant pool load
Hey guys, I'm currently investigating broadcasts from the constant pool on Sandy Bridge. I see this comment in llvm/lib/Target/X86/X86ISelLowering.cpp: // Handle the broadcasting a single constant scalar from the constant pool // into a vector. On Sandybridge it is still better to load a constant vector // from the constant pool and not to broadcast it from a scalar. Would anyone

[Bridge] bridge doesn't broadcast properly
Hello list, I'm setting up a virtual network consisting of several UMLs (User Mode Linux) connected with the virtual bridge. Communications works quite well between the host and the virtual machines. Setup: 2 UMLs connected via tap-devices to the bridge (tap1,tap2). The host uses the bridge-device br0 to talk to the clients. Now I want to tcpdump the traffic between host and UML1 on virtual

AstManProxy and broadcast
Hi, I'm evaluating possible design for a specific CTI application. CTI client is a fat client (it's a customer's requirement) which exchange data with a CRM server (build on mainframe). CTI client must : - display custom view mixing ongoing calls, presence and some user preferences (such as this user has forwarded his calls to his voicemail) - request call origination (click2call

Dr. Dobbs will be broadcasting a Usenix security conference soon that will feature Ed Felton talking about the DMCA. They wish to use Icecast2 and Ogg Vorbis to do the live broadcast, but are wondering if there is any temporary available bandwidth on which to host the stream, since it's likely to be mildly popular. Please contact me offlist if you have bandwidth to spare (at least a few

Icecast 2 on ubuntu 14 - service will not start using /etc/init.d
whomever posted I can quite follow, either Jeff or Jose, this /etc/init.d/icecast2 is actually included in the startup ? Check with ls /etc/rc* | grep icecast2 I am working on ubuntu and we don't have an /etc/rc. we have /etc/init.d and there is an /etc/init.d/icecast2 file there. Interesting, I manually started the icecast2 and I shut it down using the /etc/init.d/icecast2 stop. On
