[RFC] [Windows SEH][-EHa] Support Hardware Exception Handling
As stated in the design paragraph, this design does not intend to model precise CFG at instruction level since it’s complicated and unnecessary. As long as we comply C and C++ rules listed below, we achieve -EHa semantic. There is NO need to precisely model HW exception control flow at instruction-level. Your example about memcpy() is just a bug in current implementation. I will fix it so that

icecast2 mp3 header missing
Hi all, I?m using icecast2 to serve live streams in mp3. The streams can be played on Chrome or web views on Android, but it is very slow. Then i tried ffplay (ffmpeg) to play the streams, it?s much faster but it reports ?header missing?. I built ffmpeg with debug-info and i saw that ffmpeg probed the streams several times to get the stream format. First several times the score is low and ffmpeg

[RFC] [Windows SEH][-EHa] Support Hardware Exception Handling
Hi, Eli, Why are you under the impression that threw_exception() will not be called if optimizations are enabled? I don’t know if the -EHa Spec is clearly described in MSFT Webs. At least this proposal has described the rules for both C & C++ code. The very first rule clearly said that “no exception can move in or out of _try region., i.e., no potential faulty instruction can be moved

Multiple homedir entries in smb.conf ?
Hi list, is it possible to add multiple homedir templates to smb.conf ? I have a running linuxsystem where homefilesets are mounted from different windows-servers to subdirs like: /home/server01/home/USERNAME /home/server02/home/USERNAME /home/server03/home/USERNAME The users come via winbind. In the smb.conf the entry for the homedir: template homedir = /home/%U So how is it possible to

Questions and problems about relaying
Hi guys , I have some strange problems using Icecast2 Rlay. I'm using two icecast2 server , 1 in a office and 1 in another office. Every office connection have static Ip and the 8000 port fordwarded to the icecast private Ip by every router. Reading the documentation http://icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.3.1/icecast2_relay.html I have tryed the two type of realy: the master-server relay

I looked on the icecast.org website, but the /docs link only list the icecast2 documentation now and the whole site is void of icecast1 documentation... Using icecast1 instead of icecast2 because I need on-demand-streaming... Thanks, Kelv

Newbie Questions
Hi Many thanks for providing this software. I have version v2.0.0 b1023 installed on a QNAP NAS. The station is working fine (http://digitalcarnage.myqnapcloud.com:8002/stream). However I do have a few questions. How do I submit my station to the Icecast directory? I may have got it wrong but I understood that the application submitted it automatically? Or do I have to submit/create and XML

Need Help
Hi, We realized that there are certain parameters within icecast that request specific directory path address for the program to connect upon start up...we are now trying to find an icecast.pid file but we have not been able to find it in any of the directories. Do you know were we can find that file? Thank you, Luis Barrett -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Different passwords for each mountpoint
Something I'd be interested in setting up is specific passwords for each moutpoint. Maybe this functionality exists somewhere already and I just haven't found out how to activate it yet. All I've seen is one encoder password per icecast server instead of one password per moutpoint. If I've missed something, please point me in the right direction. If I haven't, may I ask if

repeater
Hi all there. I am trying to set up an icecast2 server (wich is already running) to send some stream mount point to another server. I mean, my server is streaming at /radio1.mp3 mount point. We can listen it at http://myserver:8000/radio1.mp3; so, i want to know if is there any way to "clone" that strem and send it to another server, such as http://giss.tv:8000/radio1.mp3 Thanks. --

Running 2 port streams on a windows Server
Doc- Even easier than that. Icecast supports moutpoints. This means you can use the same port for multiple streams. Just give each stream a different mountpoint (name). e.g. http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream1 <http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream1> http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream2 <http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream2> -greg. -----Original Message----- From: Doc NAsty

relay question again...
http://www.icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.0.1/icecast2_relay.html As stated in the above link you can do a single relay, yet is there a way to change the bitrate on the fly while doing so? I simply want to stream one 128kbps mountpoint on my slower server, then have my faster server pick it up, and relay it in 3 different bitrates/mountpoints... what is the best way to do this (or ANY way? heh), I

icecast1 documentation
Hi Geoff, I'm a bit confused... After reading the docs, I was under the impression that icecast2 does not do on demand relaying? I did a google search, found this (well, it's a year ago) http://lists.xiph.org/pipermail/icecast/2004-February/006555.html Also, in the relaying section of the icecast documentation: http://www.icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.2.0/icecast2_relay.html There was no

Questions and problems about relaying
Hiya, 1> Master/slave relay should work for you.. something i found in the version i am using you have to define the mount name in the master config file for it to be relayed to the slaves relays. The current relesed version supose to resolve this issue, I still trying to compile it on my linux systems to test it out. 2> For non static IP address you can use a dynamic hosting service
