My favorit Multimedia Player (VLC-Player) from Videolan can not play current a single Radiostation in the Icecast Radios List "http://dir.xiph.org/yp.xml". The "Icecast Radio Directory" in the VLC-Player does'nt find any Icecast Radiostation. I get an Error in Line 51875, column 75

Hi Rui, We meet a problem when enable the execute in place (XIP, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Execute_in_place) for uefi firmware with lld-link. We need to set the COFF executable file SectionAlignment through the lld-link /ALIGN option, but we find the SectionAlignment is hardcoded to 4096 which cause the /ALIGN option doesn't work at all. On Windows XP I am running WinAMP to the Shoutcast server and then using an Icecast 2.2.0 server as a relay. The idea is to have a single source stream appear on both Shoutcast and Icecast directories. So basically, I download and install ices 0.3, fire it up as well and then using the currently running icecast server, just set a new mountpoint. Instead of /ksl.ogg I would make a /ksl.mp3 mountpoint. This would be configured in the configuration file included with ices 0.3? I am only doing live streaming, feeding a raw audio feed into the box, and then encoding it on the fly. Thanks much. KJ

The ice-* headers are the standard protocol for connecting to icecast2, the trouble is making all source clients adhere to the standard. The option is to be very militant about it, and basically deny any source clients that do not connect with the ice-* headers , but we chose the more compatable route...although there is a limit to this compatability....I would strongly urge darkice to use
