The application is this: Developer meetings and conferences. "all" speakers bring their laptops and hook up to the 1024x768 projector. I want to broadcast that over the net. Connect Theora DirectShow encoder filter to decoder filter
Hi all, This may sound like a weird problem, but I am trying to create a DirectShow graph (using the Theora DirectShow filters from http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/) where I have a video source, which is connected to the Theora encoder, which is then connected to a Theora decoder. The problem is that this doesn't seem to work, those filters refuse to connect to each other. Now obviously

Howdy. I'm sorry if this has been discussed already, I missed it. (Just point me to the right archive if there is such a thing?) <p>Q1) Is there an easy "setup.exe" or similar, to install the Vorbis codec into Windows? Q2) Would that codec then be available under Adobe Premiere (or Windows Media Player for that matter)? Q3) Anyone recommend codec & settings, for

combine external video source and audio call to make SIP video call?
I'd like to cobble together a videophone from an analog phone, connected to an Asterisk FXS channel, and a co-located video camera, connected to a video grabber card on the Asterisk server (so I have a Linux video device providing the video stream). When a call is made from the phone, I'd like to somehow add the video and produce a SIP video call. I don't want to use any sort of

Xen physical host statistics

DirectShow Theora Issue with RGB24
Hi, I hope you can help, I am in need of some assistance with the DirectShow filters for Theora. I have successfully created a working capture graph using OGG / Vorbis / Theora, however, when I add a Sample Grabber Directshow filter between the FFDShow decoder and Theora Encoder, this results in the video file being mirrored vertically. I have noticed that the original CaptureGraph was using

floppy image issues
Hi! sorry for the top post. I have had some troubles in the past trying to make equipment to boot a floppy with MS-DOS that also used ms networking to access the network. Particularly the Gateway GSX 500 cannot have the onboard NIC with PXE enabled, as it eats about 92k of highmemory, which in turn makes impossible to start Windows XP setup due to low memory. On that particular machine I had

Question about hdt and UEFI
You mind to elaborate? I'd like to re-use HDT as well, but I was forced to abandon it years ago due to lack of UEFI support and lack of development. Heck even the website hdt-project is now owned by a domain-grabber (The Syslinux wiki is still linking to it when I check 3 weeks ago... might want to remove that link).
