They are on the Shoutcast list, so that may be what they are using. Shoutcast does provide an XML file that has past and current song data. I suppose with a bit of XSLT magic, I could use that. Sounds like you need to fix the problem at the source first: balancing the levels going *into* your mixing board so that they're not all over the place coming out. You'll never fix that with any hardware or software device. I use a program called ecasound to do software dynamics processing, but you'd have to hack liveice pretty extensively to use it in that situation. Software

I need to set up an icecast server which will stream out local MP3s sometimes and relay another internet radio station at other times. In order to do this, it seems like the icecast relay support won't help me - there's no way to turn that on and off without changing the icecast config and restarting the server.
