Freeamp output plug-in
Hello:
I don't usually post requests like this to mailing lists, but I've just
about run out of other options. The vorbis.org and vorbis.com sites both
make mention of a beta vorbis output plug-in for freeamp, but I'm blowed if
I can find it anywhere. It's definitely not in the vorbis.com download
section (unless it's been placed their within the last 24 hours or so), and

Drop firms in unbalanced panel if not more than 5 observations in consecutive years for all variables
Dear R-user,
a few weeks ago I consulted the list-serve with a similar question.
However, my task changed a little but sufficiently to get lost again. So
I would appreciate any help on the following issue.
I use the plm package and work with firm-level data in a panel. I would
like to eliminate all firms that do not fulfill the requirement of
having an observation in every variable used for at

What is the best way to lag a time series?
Dear R-users,
I've been using R for a while and I am very satisfied! Unfortunately, I
still have not figured out an efficient and general way to construct and
use lags of time series, especially when I need to work with different
packages.
Let me give an example. I have two time series x and y and I want to
estimate a variaty of distributed lags models and run different tests

dlm package: how to specify state space model?
Dear r-users!
I have another question regarding the dlm package and I would be very
happy if someone could give me a hint!
I am using the dlm package to get estimates for an endogenous rate of
capacity utilization over time. The general form of a state space model
is
(1) b_t = G * b_t-1 + w_t w_t ~ N(0,W)
(2) y_t= A' * x_t + H' * b_t + v_t v_t ~ N(0,V)

config file line length limit
To all,
i think i've found a minor bug in openssh. i'm writing to the list
toget input on whether it's really a bug, or an undocumented limit,
or maybe it's even documented somewhere (although i didn't see
it documented in ssh_config(5)). if there is a consensus that this
is indeed a bug, i'll file it in bugzilla. i would also like to
submit the fix.
the bug is that

Sharing Windows Folders
I'm having problems sharing folders on my Windows PC. Whenever I try to
share a folder, I get the option to choose the permissions for Everyone.
This much is fine, and normal.
I then try to add a user to the list, but I get told the user doesn't exist!
My domain is CSMNET and the user 'csm'. I've tried entering 'csm',
'CSMNET\csm', and 'csm@csmnet'

DNS issues (my ignorance?) beating me like a rented mule.
So, I managed to get an ad controller running, but cannot seem to get it to forward dns queries to my DNS server.
It resolves it's own SRV records just fine.
upstream bind is 9.2
AD controller is the same DNS domain as the rest of my network (could this be the issue?)
using SAMBA_INTERNAL on the AD controller.
It's like I can either resolve my AD controllers SRV records or the

limit-rate usage
So, I've googled around, and can't seem to find anything regarding usage of
limit-rate inside of the mount tags.
So...

<limit-rate>(How to set the number here?</limit-rate>

Any help would be appreciated.

Buffering time for netstreams
Hi!
In the new Windows Media 9, and also Real 9 I think,
there are these new features that is supposed to make
buffering of netstreams nearly unnoticed.
Will that be the case for Theora as well?
Does such a feature depend on the OGG container, or
the codec design?
Or even depend on the server software maybe?

Drawing to a buffer (or double buffering)
Hi,
I know this topic has come up several times, but I still haven't
found a satisfactory solution to it.
I want to draw complicated figures (preferably in X11) and display
them only once they are completed.
Obviously, the main purpose for doing this is so that a sequence
of complicated plots can be shown (so a solution which destroys the
window and creates a new one is not acceptable).
So

ov_read and double buffering
I am trying, for the first time, to decode and play an ogg file with two buffers. My audio is choppy and I can't see a problem on the wavOutxxx end of things. So I am wondering about how I call ov_read. From my TRACE statements, the read seems to work perfectly, eventually returning zero. Is it a simple matter of making the same call to ov_read, aside from changing the buffer and

Buffering DTMF input
An application I am running provides a dial tone to my users, read 9
digits, checks whether or not the called party number should be allowed
and then dials out using overlap dialing on a pri channel. I.e.

exten => _XXXXXXXXX,2,Dial,Zap/g1/BYEXTENSION|60|CH

Read this if you use CVS HEAD (Unstable) and chan_capi and jitter buffering in IAX
Hi,
IF:
you are using chan_capi in combination with IAX,
and you are using the IAX jitter buffer (see iax.conf)
and you run with the CVS HEAD version of Asterisk,
THEN:
You must make sure that you are running the most current chan_capi version
- which is 0.3.4 at the time of writing.
Older versions of chan_capi don't initialise an important timestamp in
audio frames - with the

Quad buffering support with Opengl and recent cosumer cards
Hello, recent consumer NVidia cards added quad buffering support (I
tested it with Direct3D and a Geforce 1070 without things like 3dvision
or 3d tv play)
Are there currently plans to bring quad buffering support for
stereoscopic rendering over hdmi 1.4 for those cards, or does support
will need to wait several years?
Of course, it would be about Opengl and Linux.

Framebuffer double buffering (via FBIOPAN_DISPLAY)
Does NOUVEAU support mmaping a double-sized Framebuffer?
When attempting to run, where fd refers to "/dev/fb0":
mmap(ptr, screensize * 2, PROT_READ | PROT_WRITE, MAP_SHARED, fd, 0);
I get back an invalid argument error. This doesn't happen if I only
request a single screensize. Is this a limitation of the driver?
