https stream play 1 second and stop
Thanks for your response Michel. I encode with Omnia AX/E Software so that it can be processed a bit and it has built in MP3 Encoders. I believe it is happening to all my streams, but I only use the mp3 codec. Was encouraged to hear that I wasn’t the only one having an issue and look forward to some trouble shooting thoughts. I do not build my own packages so whatever OpenSSL version is in

https stream play 1 second and stop
I have the same issue occur on a windows server 2008 running 2.4.3 and recently upgraded to 2.4.4
I don’t know what open ssl was packaged with it. It seems to run fine for a week or two and then all of a sudden it starts this same issue of playing one second and then stopping. Restart the service and it works fine for another week or two. But only an issue on https, the http streams are fine.

fatal signal 11
I downloaded the latest wine from the cvs site and ran its
./tools/wineinstall. It ran for quite a while and croaked on
/wine/server/semaphore.c. Basically, gcc says "Internal compiler error:
program cc1 bog fatal signal 11". The compiler is 2.91.66 (aka egcs-1.1.2
release) and compiles other programs including 2.4.1 & 2.4.2 Linux kernels
just fine. I am puzzled what 'fatal

gtk-window-decorator - No window borders
Hi,
I have a strange problem with gtk-window-decorator. I've tried 0.3.6 &
the latest from git, but with either I don't get any window borders when
running gwd. I hope its not something simple I've missed but I've
searched around and not found anything. gwd never segfaults or even
displays any warnings or anything for that matter. It just doesn't draw
the borders. I've

how to image.plot a XY grid file into a lat-lon map
Hi All,
I have a netcdf gridded file with LCC projection. I can easily use
image.plot to visualize it. However, as the axises are in X,Y, not Lat and
Lon, I could not add state or country maps onto it (or lat lon information).
I do have a grid2d file that describes the lat and lon for each (X,Y) grid,
but the lat and lon are not regularly spaced, so I could not use image.plot.
Does anyone know

Budgetone and Voicemail
I have a problem with using voicemail on the Budgetone phones. When
entering the mailbox and password, sometimes some keys will register
multiple times (as shown on console when it says no such user in config
file) and sometimes some keys won't even register at all. It seems
totally random. Has anyone seen this problem? Any recommendations
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unwanted white borders on semi-transparent polygons?
Hey all,
I'm trying to create a plot of two semi-transparent regions. The reason they need to be partially transparent is so that I can see if there's any overlap. Here's some example code:
# BEGIN
pdf(file="test.pdf",version="1.4")
plot(0,0,type="l",ylim=range(-3,3),xlim=range(-1,5))
polygon(c(0,1,2,3,4,3,2,1,0), c(0,1,2,1,0,-1,-2,-1,0),

Formatting panel borders in lattice package
Hello all --
I would like to thicken the borders between panels -- or more generally,
all borders -- in a plot generated using lattice (specifically,
levelplot). Something similar perhaps to box() function in graphics.
I haven't been successful in reviewing available documentation.
The problem stems from using a grayscale colorscheme that puts black
colors near the borders, thus

Problem Removing Border Lines in Maps Package
I'm working with the nationwide county maps data, and trying to remove the
internal county boundary lines. The only map() function parameter that I've
found that gets me anywhere close to my desired result leaves small white
segments on parts of the map. I believe this is due to the low resolution,
because when I look at individual states, the lty parameter solves the
problem. Does

maptools/spatial analysis question
Hi,
I am using maptools to plot air quality data on a map. Each measurement point is mapped to a postal code area. This yields pictures with discrete borders, like so:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27415200/baincome.png
The problem is that the size of a postal code area doesn't mean much in this context. Moreover, only a small minority of all the postal code areas has a measurement sation. Are

Problem with a barplot...
Hello,
I'm having a bit of a problem with a plot, and I'm hoping that someone might
be able to help. I'm running the R Cocoa Gui v1.12 on OS X 10.4.2, and I'm
doing a stacked bar plot. The plot itself is quite simple:
barplot(as.matrix(s.strats.in),main="Strategy when strong", col=strat.col)
where s.strats.in is a matrix with a number of rows that define the height

FC2 zaptel compile failure
I've got a fresh FC2 install and I'm trying to get the symlinks right
according to the /usr/src/zaptel/README.Linux26 instructions.
I've created two symlinks:
/usr/src/linux-2.6 -> /usr/src/linux-2.6.5-1.358
/lib/modules/linux-2.6 -> /lib/modules/2.6.7-1.494.2.2
When I do a "make linux26", I get a million warnings and errors with the
result being:

MiniMagick, and processing thumbnails...
I have a requirement that can''t be that outrageous....
I want to be able to upload an image, and have multiple thumbnails be
created for each. Then, I want to post process each image (the main
image plus the thumbnails) to add borders. The trick is that the
borders need to be different for each image. I thought I could use
the after_resize handler, but when I try to add a border to
