I think).

can't compile ices 2 on ppc
I've tried everything I know how (and a lot I don't) to get
ices to compile on this beige G3 ppc box. I've got the latest
cvs of libshout and ices.
Gentoo linux ppc 1.2-r1, from stage3 tarball.
gcc 2.95.3
I've made sure that libshout points to libshout.so.2.0.2.
Don't know what else to try.
I've got the box here, and I've port-forwarded through
my firewall to

[PATCH] IceCast2 - socket-based default mount
I wrote a patch which makes client connections retain info about which
socket they connected to - this way, you can change the server's behavior
based on which <listen-socket> is being connected to.
In addition, I added a field to the <listen-socket> section of the config
file called <default-mount> which specifies a default file in the
case that one isn't specified (it

ices: Metadata for im_stdinpcm
Hi,
I added metadata support for the stdinpcm module of ices. The metadata
have to be submitted via file (as stdin is already used for the strem).
Please apply this patch to the current cvs sources.

libshout2 compiling problems under FreeBSD?
Hi,
I couldn't find anything about this subject from archive - are there known
problems with compiling libshout2 under FreeBSD 5.1 or 4.8 (both are up to
date). I downloaded libshout2 latest nightly snapshot and tried to compile
it on 5.0 and then later on 4.8. Both failed (problems were mostly around
sock.c, sock.h, resolver.c - redeclaring and syntax errors). Thinking that
it might be a

Almost there...
Ok, I managed to compile the Ogg and Vorbis libs. Then, after modifying
the file audio_out.c as follows:
original: #include <dlfcn.h>
modified: #include <win32/include/dlfcn.h>
I was able to (finally!) compile libao.
Then I tried to compile the module vorbis-tools, but uninvited problems
came to my party.

Freebsd build problems
Ok, prehaps a different memory leak/etc, but the Icecast processes on
our server are completely out of control.. seconds after restarting them
(each consuming several hundred megs and maxing out CPU):
72854 nobody 58 0 102M 14264K RUN 0:34 41.17% 41.11% icecast

So I went to download latest CVS (brendan's

Icecast2 in xiph CVS, PATCH!
Hi! Here are some patches to the CVS (ices) that I made to
get my radio webinterface with songselection-support
working.
To make the log update (flush) each time something is
written (before the patch it flushes only when you quit):
