Hi, I've had a few problems with broadcasting an icecast2 playlist with peercast. The problem is that when getting the m3u file, the response isn't terminiated with a newline (\n or \r\n). peercast doesn't particularily like this. I've submitted a patch to peercast for this, but I wonder if icecast2 should add the \r\n to the end. Maybe there's some more buggy software around

is it true it's not possible to start or stop indvidual streams using icecast2+icegenerator(liveice,ezstream) combination? i've tried mp3 directory streaming as well as playlist streaming - it works, but with no possibility to see full mp3 file listing and play control (like choosing a song, starting, stopping play). Icecast can't even diferentiate /dev/dsp input from playlist input.

I just downloaded and installed the newest version of icecast. I have been using shout to stream my mp3's into icecast, and it worked ok except it kept stopping mid song and I'd have to hit the play button again on xmms to get it to work properly, but then a few minutes later it does the same thing.
