ices question ? (gui)
Hi Chuck, Thanks, I'd be very interested in seeing it. In light of not being able to find what I wanted on google, I've started my own (in PHP), I guess it could be beneficial to share. ;-) Let me know if you're interested, Kind Regards, Nick On Tue, 29 Mar 2005 12:08:44 -0500, Chuck Tellechea <chuckt@tellechea.org> wrote: > Nick, > > Hehe... > > I was going

ices question ? (gui)
Nick, Cool. Let's compare requirements/features once we've had a start. If we end up using a database, we could certainly make the code consistent with a schema and implementation. I'm partial to postrgresql. You? On Mar 29, 2005, at 1:15 PM, [NICK] wrote: > Hi Chuck, > Thanks, I'd be very interested in seeing it. > > In light of not being able to find what I

Push relay from nicecast with icecast2?
Greetings, I have some confusion. I've seen it mentioned, somewhere in some docs, that Icecast2 does not (as yet) support Push relaying. Is this actually the case? Should I be looking at icecast1 (which does support push relay, I believe) until such capability is implemented on icecast2? Or should I be creating a combination of both? Or what? Here's my situation: I have a customer

ices can't logon to server
Where can I get ice2? (Seems ices2 doesn't actually exist.) is it useable? >Fromwhat I found on google, the cvs web listing says the code hasn't been touched in 22 months, and that it's mostly incomplete. Should I just use icescast and ices? <p><p>On December 12, 2002 22:05, msmith@labyrinth.net.au wrote: > Duke <list_usr@spacebox.net> said: > > Do

playlist.log parser
Hello list, I am looking for a tool to display the information stored in playlist.log. Does anyone of you know a tool/script that will display the number of listeners (avg/max) for each track played? Linking streaming mp3 on the web
I have a redhat 9 box with darkice installed and a freeBSD 5.3 box running icecast. Both boxes are up and running and the mp3 stream is working great. The only problem i'm having is figuring out a way to link the mp3 stream on my webpage that will allow users to easily click on a link and have their media player open. I can open my media player, go to the open URL dialog and enter my URL,

Do you mean ices 0.2.3? If so, I'm still getting the same error. <p>On December 12, 2002 18:34, msmith@labyrinth.net.au wrote: > Duke <list_usr@spacebox.net> said: > > I'm certain I've got everything configured correctly, however, I keep > > getting the following message when trying to run ices: > > ices 0.x doesn't use the same protocol as

Push relay from nicecast with icecast2?
Darrel, Thanks for the help. I'm presuming then that I've misunderstood what is meant by "pull" vs. "push". I understood, I guess erroneously, that the context of 'push' relaying was from the perspective of the icecast2 receiving a 'pushed' stream. I believe now that I have this backwards, and that the context is from the part of icecast2 not being

Identificar porción de una imagen.-
¡Hola muchachos!

Push relay from nicecast with icecast2?
Greetings, Ok, success. I understand now that what I thought was a relaying server was actually a source client. This was not really clear and caused me a great deal of confusion. My fault.... <must remember to remove head from posterior prior to project commencement> However, I found something interesting that needs to be documented. I was using a password of radi0 with the source

"no camping required" deployment?
Hi, So Lennon got me going with my database-less Camping app, but I''ve just realized that, I have no deployment strategy. This app is to provide a GUI front end to our FUN3D fluid flow simulation monster, which is used by ourselves, companies, universities, hobbyists, and the military. The end result of which, is a file of (key, value) pairs read by FUN3D. Requiring our users to have

Windows 8.1 Join Domain
I have Samba 3.6.6 configured as a domain controller, but am unable to get new machines to join the domain. I've set the WINS on these machines in the IPv4 network configuration and get as far as entering my samba (ldap) credentials, but the whirlything spins for a while then says it cannot contact the domain, domain does not exist. If a machine had already been part of the domain when it
