Linking Mount Problem

[RFC PATCH V2] Btrfs: introduce extent buffer cache for each i-node
This patch introduce extent buffer cache for every i-node. By this
way, we can save the search time and reduce the lock contention of the root
because we needn''t search the item from the root of b+ tree.
Implementation:
- add two pointers of extent buffer into btrfs_inode struct, one for
nodes/leaves of fs/file tree, the other for nodes/leaves of the log tree.
- add a variant to tell

Speex on windows, audio cutting out ("bug" discussion and fixes)
Hi Kelly,
Sorry if I'm just stating the obvious, but ..
Are you calling the speex API from multiple threads?
If so, I suspect that if you use a mutex to ensure that only one thread can access the speex API at a given moment, the problem will go away. Obviously this reduces the scalability of your program, but it makes a good test. If that fixes it, then I recommend changing the code to

Speex on windows, audio cutting out ("bug" discussion and fixes)
I very much appreciate the help trying to find a more satisfying reason
behind my bug :)
We do mutex access to each speex state, but we rely on the re-entrance
of the API and do not mutex around all access to the API.
However, when I am only listening to one person (and therefore only have
one speex state) I'm essentially mutexing the API :) and the high pass
filter buffer goes to NaN.

Memory Read Only Enforcement: VMM assisted kernel rootkit mitigation for KVM V4
Here is change log from V3 To V4:
- Fixing spelling/grammar mistakes suggested by Randy Dunlap
- Changing the hypercall interface to be able to process multiple pages
per one hypercall also suggested by Randy Dunlap. It turns out that
this will save lots of vmexist/memory slot flushes when protecting many
pages.

Language packs (was IE5.5)
Thanks to all those who replied.
In the meantime, I dug around in the Codeweavers apps database, and
found some stuff that helped me get it working (I think it was setting
shlwapi to "native" that did the trick).
But now I have a NEW PROBLEM!!!
I need to view Hebrew web pages. In Windows, if I went to a Hebrew page,
IE would ask me if I want to download and install the Hebrew language

Time Series Data
Hi All,
I'm trying to analyze some time series data and I have run into difficulty. I have decadal sun spot data and I want to separate the very regular periodic function from the trend and noise. I looked into using stl(), but the frequency of the time series data must be greater than 1 for stl(). My data covers a 1000 year interval from 9095 BP to 8095BP and the frequency is, therefore, 0.1

Thanks for the reply!
I tried the instructions on Frank's IE5.5 page, including copying all
the files and directories to my ~/.wine/fake_windows/ directory (except
jsnl.dll, which I could not find...)
I do not know if dcom95 exists somewhere in one of the directories that
I copied across, but I know that exactly the same thing happens when I
try to run IE on the Windows partition (instead of

Memory Read Only Enforcement: VMM assisted kernel rootkit mitigation for KVM
Hi,
This is my first set of patches that works as I would expect, and the
third revision I sent to mailing lists.
Following up with my previous discussions about kernel rootkit mitigation
via placing R/O protection on critical data structure, static data,
privileged registers with static content. These patches present the
first part where it is only possible to place these protections on
memory
