Darkice "Buffer overrun": how to troubleshoot?
We're running a darkice/icecast configuration to stream our LPFM radio station (and to provide a quick-n-dirty studio-transmitter-link). (See config data below.) We're getting intermittent "Buffer overrun!" errors out of darkice, and we associate these with interruptions in our audio stream that are quite noticeable. These occur anywhere from once to ten times per hour.

mount points down in relay after a network problem
Hello. I have a problem in a master-relay scenario. Sometimes, when a stream is down in master server and after a while the stream is fine again (e.g. after a network problem), relay/s server can't get the stream again, so I have to restart icecast in relay server to make it work: 1- An incoming stream is stopped in icecast master 2 - The stream is up again in icecast master 3 - Relay

Another person cannot hear my radio (yet)
Hello, Link http://201.1.83.111:8000/live.m3u is currently taking to my radio. I did all things that must be done, and all things you already suggested as well. However, it does not working for external people yet... Would you please help me? Thanks a lot, Denis.

configuration & error help
Hi everybody, just a new face showing up looking for a little help configuring IceCast. Just installed the software with a few other programs in an attempt to start off my own internet radio station. Using SimpleCast to take the line-in and stream it to IceCast, which in-turn does the obvious and streams it to the internet. I'm looking at just creating a station of just 5 max users (for

icecast, ssl, windows environment
Hello everyone. Thanks a lot! I got it working. Frankly speaking I had already tested the setup proposed, but I made two mistakes, first i tried to setup the port 443 and it was stupid as this port is already used by web service https. Second mistake was the .pem file that probably was wrongly concatenated and was not recognized/loaded by icecast. However I confirm that in most places on

Ice 0.3 cannot connect to Icecast2
I've set up Icecast2 and IceS 0.3 (the version I'm told is better for mp3 streaming, which is what I want to do), but I can't figure out why IceS can't connect to Icecast2. Icecast2 starts with no complaints, and a portscan shows that it has opened the default port I've set it to (8000). However, IceS says it can't connect to it (both Icecast2 and IceS are on the

Problems using Intro function for a mountpoint
Hi guys , I'm using icecast 2.3.1 and all works very well . Now I'm reading the icecast documentation for the advanced feature , like the intro for a mountpoint. I set it , and when I connct to the stream I see the intro , but later the intro finished (it during about 45 sec) , the real streaming doesn't arrive!!! If i remove the intro tag , the stream works well. I post my

Have you tried mpd or ices2 as the actual music player? Do you experience the same issues? Multiple streams are generally separated by the path that is used to access it, they all run on the same port. This is determined by the stream source when it connects to the server On Mon, 9 Sep 2019, 11:35 wilderzone.radio.2, <wilderzone.radio.2 at gmail.com> wrote: > Hello, Thomas_B._Rücker, > > ======= At 2019-09-09, 08:36:43 you wrote: ======= > > > > >I am not

Client has fallen behind
Hi Guys, I have a lot of streaming running with Icecast (Icecast 2.1-kh5) and they work fine on (for example) winamp. The fact is that we have many listeners tuning in with mp3-web-radio's on slow connections. Some of the streams connect only once in a few time. They connect and disconnect after sending 8k. The error is: [2005-03-16 11:20:07] DBUG source/send_to_listener Client has
