Ruby/XSLT
Anybody got any experience using this ( http://greg.rubyfr.net/pub/packages/ruby-xslt/files/README.html ) ? I asked my hosting company (a2hosting.com) about XSLT processors for Rails and mentioned this one. Four hours later I get email that they''ve installed it. Thing is, the documentation didn''t generate, and when I execute ''gem list --local'' it''s

libxml error (or am I just being dumb?)
I've been trying to compile ices and icecast all night. I have narrowed the problem down to libxml. I have tried several rpms of libxml2 and libxml2-devel all to no avail. I don't expect support on this alpha release but just a reply to say that it's a common issue or wether I am just a dunce would be nice. :) Thanks Hans The follwing are installed by RPM: libxml2-2.4.23-1

Compiling Icecast2 on RedHat9 or maybe another Linux
Hi Dave, I am now trying to compile Icecast2 under RedHat9. I get some errors when I try to ./configure so the make file is not created. Can you take a look at the attached file and tell me what is wrong? I tried to compile it on another RedHat9 computer but I got the same results... I think I will dedicate one computer ONLY to icecast2. In this case, could you advise me the best Linux

icecast 1.3 or 2 ??? (plus YP stuff)
The mp3 streaming is actually pretty good in icecast2, even the metadata enhancements..I've done quite a bit of testing with it, and it's passed all my tests..although my tests were not completely thorough, and additional testing should be done on laggy networks and with large number of users...it at least passes the "good network and small number of users tests"...

Re [ogg]
Ok everything seemed to install perfectly but where is icecast? Seems like it doesn't install the icecast like the previous versions did. I can find no /usr/local/icecast directory.
