Icecast2 Station with multiple scheduled DJs?
I have been playing with Icecast only for a couple of days, and I am trying to figure out how to do something. I want a listener to have to only deal with one stream, but I want to be able to switch the source of that stream between multiple sources (DJs). The core idea is that the listener only deals with /live.mp3 while in the background I can problematically switch between a series of live

Stream drops during handoff. Suggestions?
I'm using ezstream-0.1.2 KJ -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Joel Ebel [mailto:jbebel@ncsu.edu] Verzonden: donderdag 3 februari 2005 21:05 Aan: Klaas Jan Wierenga Onderwerp: Re: [Icecast] Stream drops during handoff. Suggestions? Thanks. I'll have to try that. I wonder why ezstream would ever stop sending data for that long though. What version of ezstream are you running? Joel

plotting with an its object
Dear R People: I have an its object. The original its is the Dow Jones Industrial average from March 23, 1990 to March 23, 2000. I did the following; dj1 = original series >dj2 <- log(dj1) >ddj2 <- diff(dj2) > Ok so far. Now I would like to plot this series with a certain y limit: >min(ddj2) [1] -0.07454905 >max(ddj2) [1] 0.04860535 >plot(ddj2,ylim=c(-0.1,0.1)) Error

Icecast2 Station with multiple scheduled DJs?
At WXBH-LP we had a similar need, and we solved it using mpd (music player daemon) to coordinate our feed to icecast. mpd is a music player (supporting playlists, etc.) originally designed for local network streaming, but it has several attributes that make it suitable for other things: * Items in its playlists can be local audio files or remote streams (e.g. DJ streams). * It

Handoff dial control to dialplan after AMI Originate
Hello, I'd like to use the AMI interface to originate a call to a context in a dialplan, and handoff the dial control to the context. Whenever I execute the below action, the recipient does ring, but when I answer it dials the recipient again. I believe this is because once answered the system is going to execute the Context/Exten/Prio in the Originate action? Action: Originate Channel:

Newbie question ... fallback mounts
Attached is my config file. The purpose is to interrupt my regular stream sith a station (stream) ID once per hour (time synchronized externally). I use ezstream to play the pre-recorded stream ID. I never hear the stream ID while listening to the stream. (There is a 10 second break in the stream once per hour) What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. Mike -------------- next part

Help
Hello there, I'm trying to figure out if this could be done, and if so, if it could be done with 1 IceCast2 servers running 1 config file. I use the DJ program that's called Traktor DJ Studio 2.6. It has a built in feature that you can stream LIVE! to an IceCast2 server with it. All the metadata info from the tracks played and played can be seen in IceCast2 and the media player that

IAX2 * -> * handoff
Hey All, I am setting up a network of Asterisk servers using IAX2. I am wondering if it is possible to disable the handoff feature? At the moment I have 4 asterisk machines, 3 are at SOHO offices and 1 is centrally hosted in a data centre. In addition the central machine has an IAX2 link to a VOIP provider (and might be set up with more in the future). All calls are routed through that

Listener statistics on a fallback stream
Hello, I've come across a small problem and I'm not sure it's a bug or a misconfiguration in icecast, so I thought I'd ask here. The situation: we have an automated radio station that is fed from a dedicated virtual machine with SAM broadcaster. I set up a stream with a fallback mount; SAM connects to the fallback. Now, whenever the DJ wants to broadcast live all he has to do is

kicking sources
Hi, I've just seen a new thread asking about kicking clients off the server and wondered, if there is a feature to kick sources off the server as well. This would be very useful if the server is used by multiple djs on a radio-station with a timetable. So when a dj forgets to stop his livestream the next dj could just kick the source instead of killing and restarting the whole server.

Problem with HTTP stream but not HTTPS.
Strange issue - not sure if something has changed in Icecast2, but suddenly my long-running stream won’t connect to 8000 and says 'File or directory not found’ http://listen.radioclash.com:8000/ <http://listen.radioclash.com:8000/> but will happily connect to the SSL port I’ve set up https://listen.radioclash.com:8443/ <https://listen.radioclash.com:8443/> I am using Liquidsoap

[PATCH] new *br: Show handoff data
git://git.zytor.com/users/genec/syslinux.git Branch handoff-mbr-for-hpa This is a piece of code that can be used in place of a MBR or VBR/PBR (master boot record; volume/partition) in order to examine the data handed to the respective boot code. AX, SS, and SP are destroyed before examining anything. I set an internal restriction that limits it to 420 bytes such that it could be used with a
