How does ISDN really work?
I'm trying to setup DATA calls with Dial(Zap/g1d/12345678), but with PRI DEBUG SPAN 1 on, it seems to connect a regular SPEECH call. I'm using 1.0.6. Is this feature broken in stable release? There seems to be support in the source, but it doesn't work. Does the Telco set what each PRI channel support? Like DATA or SPEECH etc.. Do I have to specify in zapata.conf or zaptel.conf that

how to generate a function from a linear model
Hi All, I am trying to generate a function from a linear model. I think there should be build-in function that perform this action but I've had no luck finding it. For example, I have a model created using lm(). model <- lm(sat.d~1+sat.n+I(sat.n^2)) What I would like to have is a function (similar to the one generated by splinefun()) so that I can use it on different data-sets.

Dear sir, I've a problem that the .wav file couldn't play after calling "sampleenc male.wav|sampledec male_speex_15.wav".I found that the new file male_speex_15.wav is smaller than the original file in size.I implemented the test on Linux system. The original file male.wav is 96044 bytes, while the new file male_speex_15.wav is 96000 bytes.I'm eager to know the reason.Thankyou!

[LLVMdev] Questions on LLVM and binary translation
Hi, I'm currently investigating LLVM to see whether it can be used in dynamic binary translation. My goal is to translate different "source" machine code into the "target" machine code during runtime, e.g., MIPS -> x86. LLVM has a well-defined intermediate representation to separate source and target machine code (source -> LLVM Bytecode -> target), and is a

file couldn't play after Speex encode and decode
I suggest that you write the command line as Jean-Marc suggested: speexenc sample.wav - | speexdec - sample_out.wav I have tested this and it works as expected. You need to specify the '-' for stdin and also for stdout. John As an aside, I notice that the wave output from speexdec does not write the wave file header when the output is destined for stdout. I believe this is incorrect

file couldn't play after Speex encode and decode
The encoded speex file should, by convention, be given the '.spx' extension rather than '.wav', but that is not the issue. What appears to be happening is that the '.wav' extension on your named output file from speexdec is not being recognised as '.wav' and, consequently, the file is being written as 'raw' data without the wave file header. I am not sure

HVM domain can not boot up with Qcow incremental image
Dear,Beg for your help. I am really puzzled with this problem.HVM domain can not boot up with Qcow incremental image(using command: qcow-create size incremental_file original_Qcow_img_file), but it can boot up with the original Qcow disk image file. When using Qcow incremental image, the guest qemu window would disappear before loading grub, and `xm list` can not find this guest domain. The VM
