I removed the trailing slash from the mount-name and set the usernames to be the same. Still get the same result. Error message is: Error during send: Mount failed on http://127.0.0.1:8000/ices, error: Login failed. I have compiled Ices without any problems, it found lame.h and the libraries, my problem is that when I run ices, it doesn't re-encode the files. Karl, I installed icecast/ices from the latest stable ebuild on gentoo portage. It appears from the log file that ices is only version 2.0.0 even though the ebuild is version 2.1.0. I just reinstalled icecast with the newest (unstable) ebuild and it still doesn't seem to have version 2.0.1 of ices.
