HTB latency
Hi list,
playing around with HTB showed that it may introduces pretty much latency
for our setup. Docum.org says the following:
"The default qdisc added to a htb class is pfifo_fast qdisc. The size of the
qdisc is the device queue length and this is 100 packets for an ethernet
device. So if you want to have a shorter queue, you have to add a shorter
qdisc to the htb qdisc."

I have to compile icecast-1.3.11 under Win32, and want to apply the patch of
Li-Kai Liu:
http://www.xiph.org/archives/icecast-dev/0066.html
But I could not find the "win32config.h" file. I installed Subversion to
grab the repository but I didn't find it either.
Does anybody have this file and would like to send me?

Windows XP client - intermittent 'network name cannot befound' loading profile
Hello Tim,
I have verified and recreated your problem.
As soon as I switch SAMBA option security=share , I have
exactly the same problems like you,
when trying to access a SAMBA share
via Windows "Add Network Places"
The only option I have to logon is
DOOMIT\Guets
(DOOMIT is the NetBIOS Name of my samba server).
HOWEVER: There *aren't any* problems, if I try
to map the share as

ices: PQueue module error
Hi All--
I'm trying to get icecast working with ices, but I'm having a problem with
the PQueue module. I'm including my ices.connf file and verbose output when
running in non-daemon mode below. I'm running on Fedora Core 1, and have
all packages updated (via yum).
I'd greatly appreciate any insights.

Reloading ices (0.2.3) playlist
Hiya
I'm completely stumped on reloading the playlist... If I send ices a
SIGHUP signal it appears to reload the Perl module but not execute any code.
The messages I'm getting are:
DEBUG: Caught SIGHUP, cycling logfiles and reloading playlist...
DEBUG: Interpreting [ices_shutdown]
DEBUG: perl [ices_shutdown] returned 1 values, last [1]

A few questions
Hi
I've got everything running OK but now have a couple of questions:
I'm occasionally getting "504 server full" errors at the client and in the
icecast access log. Is this caused by me exceeding the value set in the
<max-listeners> section of icecast.xml for each mount point?
Also, when I HUP ices it fails to properly reload the Perl module... ices
catches the

Unresolved references in libnetsnmpagent.so
Hi,
I am running an up to date centos5.9 system.
The package,
net-snmp-devel-5.3.2.2-20.el5
Contains among oteher things:
/usr/lib/libnetsnmpagent.so
When I link with this library (-lnetsnmpagent), I get a bunch of unresolved references.:
My Google searches has not given me hints to where the C to Perl library exists.
I would guess that yum would have loaded the correct package as a

force group does not work
Hi
I set up a samba 4.1.4 server on the latest FreeBSD RELEASE 10.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to consider the option force group. After
hours ofresearch I couldn't figure out what I'm still missing. unix
extensions is set to no. Setting the debug level up to 10 also didn't
help ;(
Is this a bug or is there simply a mistake in my setup?
When

Cannot compile wine fully
Hi!
For a longer time, I cannot build all the support suite of wine programs,
especially winehelp and winetest. It seems that there is some problem with
perl:
winetest.c: In function `xs_init':
winetest.c:158: `my_perl' undeclared (first use in this function)
winetest.c:158: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
winetest.c:158: for each function it appears in.)

IceS with Perl segfault
I'm running Icecast 1.3.12 with IceS 0.2.3.
I've run into a couple of issues with this new version of IceS. One I can
get around, the other is causing me much frustration.
With IceS 0.2.2 I had the server name in the ices.conf file set to
localhost:
<Server>
<Hostname>localhost</Hostname>
</Server>
Worked fine for many months. When I upgraded to 0.2.3 I

"advanced printing features" setting not saved
Hello,
we run SuSE8.2 with Samba 2.2.7a-78 (SuSE's own version?!) and Windows
XP clients. After an update to 3.0.0, everything works well (user access
on file services and printing), but we can't save the "advanced printing
features(?)" (german: "Erweiterte Druckfunktionen aktivieren") flag
(WinXP -> Settings -> any printer -> Advanced) anymore.

Problems with Samba - Domain not reachable
I'm very despaired. Trying to join a Domain I also get an error: "Domain not reachable".
But to my mind the samba-configuration is ok. The logs give no hint to an error. testparm smb.conf works fine.
I created a shortcut to logon on server, that works. (via ip and via name). But i cannot join the domain.
Does anyone has an advice, where the problem could be? To my mind it is a
