Stats Bug?
I use simplecast as the source into my icecast2 server. It has a built in stats program but the problem is that If my icecast server has over 2 mount points the stats stop working and the only way to fix it is to restart the icecast server. Is there anyway to fix this bug myself? Inactive (Error parsing xml document: Invalid at the top level of the document.||||Line: 1||empty result) That

schedule a fallback and / 2 sources streaming at 1 server ???
Hi everyone. I was wondering if it is possible to schedule a fallback. I know there is the option when no source is streaming then icecast server falls back to another mount point. So my question is if it is possible to schedule some sort of fallback to another mount point whenever i want to. Let me give you an example: source 1 is streaming to server from 16:00 until 16:59 at mount point 1.

Stupid newbie question
Is there a configuration file in asterisk used for modifying Daylight savings time or is this strictly being dictated by linux? ________________________________ Mark Galley * Systems Administrator acgroup <http://www.bflo.com/> Aurora Consulting Group, Inc. * 7625 Seneca Street * East Aurora, NY 14052 Phone 716.655.9000 X118 * Cell 716.238.3535 * Fax 716.655.4957 * www.BFLO.com

using the latest icecast and ices to stream both ogg and mp3
So basically, I download and install ices 0.3, fire it up as well and then using the currently running icecast server, just set a new mountpoint. Instead of /ksl.ogg I would make a /ksl.mp3 mountpoint. This would be configured in the configuration file included with ices 0.3? I am only doing live streaming, feeding a raw audio feed into the box, and then encoding it on the fly. Thanks much. KJ

Mutiple Sources
Hello, I am running icecast with great success and Simplecast as the content source. I have already having multiple sources using different ports, to increase the security I would like to allocate each source a different password. The documentation is a little unclear as to whether a different username is required for each password, the Simplecast program does not allow me to configure a

Overhead of individual mount points
I'm running a private stream which only has a handful of clients. I have found it convenient to create a separate mount point on my encoder (Simplecast) for each client. This allows me to track the current client list using the tools built into Simplecast. It also allows me to do custom streams when required on a per-destination basis. All mount points are normally running the same

Media Player Buffering Issue
I just noticed something. I'm using simplecast as my encoder. If I put the first Mp3 option which is listed Mp3/Mp3Pro when I play the stream in Media Player it just buffers and buffers and doesn't play. If I select the option Mp3 (ACM) Media Player works. Why would this be? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=Ottawa Valley Weather-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Weather @ 12:08am - Temp:

configuration & error help
Hi everybody, just a new face showing up looking for a little help configuring IceCast. Just installed the software with a few other programs in an attempt to start off my own internet radio station. Using SimpleCast to take the line-in and stream it to IceCast, which in-turn does the obvious and streams it to the internet. I'm looking at just creating a station of just 5 max users (for
