Solution for automatic radio?
Hi,
I've read various times that people here are running bigger and
smaller radio-stations. However, most people with "a bit larger"
stations seem to also have hardware-equipment for radio-broadcasting
(studio, mix-panel, separate computer(s) for automatic playlist-
playback etc.) and then send the audio to a dedicated streaming-
server.
But is it possible as a

Helix into Icecast2 loopback
Hello.
I've made some progress on the issue. I found a tool called TrPlayer which
is a text mode front end for real player - initially developed for the use
of the visually impaired. The theory is that I can use this and pipe the
live stream into vsound which then in turn is passed into ices or another
source client. Trouble is, I'm having all sorts of trouble compiling
Trplayer on the

Status.xsl not displaying everything
when you compiled icecast, did you disable YP ? the fields that you
mention are really only used for YP listing, and so if you have explicitly
disabled YP support, then they will not be kept track of in the stats tree...

Status.xsl not displaying everything
Hi guys,
I've got the following set up:
- Linux SuSE 8.2
- Running: Icecast2
- Source Client: Ices0.3
- Stream Client: Winamp 5.0 in Windows XP
The following is happening:
- I've got Ices0.3 streaming MP3's with correct ID3-tags to the
Icecast-server
- Suppose the stream name is "Ovide's Radio"
- In the status.xsl page of Icecast2, I only see info about: mountpount,

stream to icecast and shoutcast
Hello,
I would need an advice on how to change the setup of my streaming server.
The box is an AMD Sempron 2800+ 512MB of RAM, nvidia nforce2 chipset, running on an OpenBSD 3.7.
Changing the OS is the last thing I am prepared to do.
The system is runing icecast 2.2.0 and Darkice 0.15beta (live streaming). Because POSIX scheduling is not supported in OpenBSD (darkice message on startup) I am

Ices0.3 and Perl 5.8.3
Has anyone got Ices0.3 to complile and make under when linking with Perl
5.8.3?
I posted this a while back...but it needs a revival :D

It's the latest version I could find of ices0, that is - 0.2.3,
with mp3 support. The patch I've done is not a patch for the real error,
it justs forces ices

What is a bit strange: It claims to have had no updates since 2001
(MediaXW-package itself in the SF-downloadsection) / 2002 (website)?

Subset and plot
Here is a runable program. When I plot Day and Wgt, it graphs all the data
points. All I need is daily.sub1 plotted. I also need each "Tanks" to have
its own col or pch. When I run it with the line with pch, it gives me
nothing.
rm(list=ls())
Trial<-rep(c(1,2),each=12)
Tanks=rep(c("a3","a4","c4","h4"),each=3,2)
Day=rep(c(1:12),2)

Is this going to do what I think it will
do? ie will the output be runable on a

[LLVMdev] DragonEgg on FreeBSD
Hi, Duncan
I only tested dragonegg on simple HelloWorld C/C++ programs. It can emit LLVM IR and
generate a runable executable.
On FreeBSD, Makefile need to be modified to include a path to gmp.h
header file. I give a patch here,

DIY Rtools?
Dear List,
I'm currently working on an R package that
works great when compiled with GCC 4.8 under linux
but which doesn't seem to work so well when compiled
by the win builder (http://win-builder.r-project.org/).
After asking around a bit, the primary culprit could be
the older version of GCC used in Rtools.
Now, for academic purposes, I would like to have
a zip version of this
