Solution for automatic radio?
This is pretty much exactly what I'm doing for my Uni project.....but just can't get Icecast and Ices0.3 to work. :( <p>>From: "Stefan Neufeind" <stefan@neufeind.net> >Reply-To: icecast@xiph.org >To: icecast@xiph.org >Subject: [icecast] Solution for automatic radio? >Date: Sun, 14 Mar 2004 16:05:35 +0100 > >Hi, > >I've read various

MP3 MetaData in WMP and RealOne
Hi Everybody, It works with Peercast because Peercast receives the headers from Icecast2 and sends its own headers back to the client (Winamp, WMP, Real...). Remember that Peercast is a client AND a server... I guess Peercast doesn't send back the headers in the same way than Icecast2. Maybe Peercast doesn't use ICY/X-audiocast. Talking about Real (v9.0 and 10), I already got the

MP3 MetaData in WMP and RealOne
Hi Stephan, I am talking about the meta-data: Artist - Song. It's weird because you are the second person on the list who doesn't get it working in Real... I just tried again with "BEK_dns" and "Radio Alcanzando Naciones" the 2 first MP3 radios I found in the stream directory and everything worked perfectly for Real (but not for WMP). In RealPlayer, I clicked

Our need is similar but slightly different. We have one master site that will be preparing the content for retrasmission. The problem is that we cannot use live streams to our satellite stations. Subset and plot
Here is a runable program. When I plot Day and Wgt, it graphs all the data points. All I need is daily.sub1 plotted. I also need each "Tanks" to have its own col or pch. When I run it with the line with pch, it gives me nothing. rm(list=ls()) Trial<-rep(c(1,2),each=12) Tanks=rep(c("a3","a4","c4","h4"),each=3,2) Day=rep(c(1:12),2)

[LLVMdev] Has anyone sucessfully compile the llvm code using visual studio 2005?
HI everyone. I am using visual studio 2005 and windows xp to compile the llvm project. I downloaded the project with svn client. [LLVMdev] DragonEgg on FreeBSD
Hi, Duncan I only tested dragonegg on simple HelloWorld C/C++ programs. It can emit LLVM IR and generate a runable executable. On FreeBSD, Makefile need to be modified to include a path to gmp.h header file. I give a patch here, -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- Makefile.orig 2011-01-08 12:39:35.480184745 +0800 +++ Makefile

DIY Rtools?
Dear List, I'm currently working on an R package that works great when compiled with GCC 4.8 under linux but which doesn't seem to work so well when compiled by the win builder (http://win-builder.r-project.org/). After asking around a bit, the primary culprit could be the older version of GCC used in Rtools. Now, for academic purposes, I would like to have a zip version of this

Re: desire box
I know SAM2 (or rather, SAM3 now) has this functionality built-in: http://spacialaudio.com/ It is disabled by default and difficult to step though. Not to mention the cost of the entire application. What I found worked the best for me is to have my website output to a file whatever song somebody clicked on. A script would check the file every few seconds, and then execute my media player with

How to visualize paired t-test results?
I would like to know if you have any suggestions how to visualize the results from a paired t-test (see the example data below). I tried to produce plots that show the mean and CI's from the original data and the estimate of the difference between means and the confidence intervals (see below) from the t-test. I really don't know what would be the best way to graphically display the

The one major company that owns 13 of the local stations plus 8 more that bleed over from the next biggest city, has lobbied the FCC so that the last FM license will never be given out. likely bug in 'serialize' or please explain the memory usage
Hi all, assume the following problem: a function call takes a function object and a data variable and calls this function with this data on a remote host. It uses serialization to pass both the function and the data via a socket connection to a remote host. The problem is that depending on the way we call the same construct, the function may be serialized to include the data, which was not
