multiple listeners
Hi Im using Icecast2 and SAM2 to broadcast a 56kb 24khz Stereo 2 Channel 6.Kb MP3 stream on a 512k ASDL connection. I know that the number of listeners will be LIMITED to 3 or so - is there any way I can actually calculate this ? I passed my broadcast link to a friend yesterday and they told me that they recieved a 'Server Full' error, is there something in the config that I need to

Statistics Relay
Hello again: Though you suggested in subsequent reply email that the problem may sit with the SAM2 Broadcaster application I done some additional testing and wanted to run the results by you. I am able to reproduce the problem and see what I would consider odd activities on the Icecast2 windows application. Here goes: 1) Connect and start one stream from SAM2 --> Icecast2 2) Connect

How to visualize paired t-test results?
I would like to know if you have any suggestions how to visualize the results from a paired t-test (see the example data below). I tried to produce plots that show the mean and CI's from the original data and the estimate of the difference between means and the confidence intervals (see below) from the t-test. I really don't know what would be the best way to graphically display the

[LLVMdev] Value* to Instruction*/LoadInst* casting
Hello everyone, Can you please tell me if it is possible in LLVM to cast a `Value*` to an `Instruction*/LoadInst*` if for example `isa<LoadInst>(MyValue)` is true? In my particular piece of code: Value* V1 = icmpInstrArray[i]->getOperand(0); Value* V2 = icmpInstrArray[i]->getOperand(1); if (isa<LoadInst>(V1) || isa<LoadInst>(V2)){ ...

Problems connecting source
Hi oddsock, I tested SAM2 in the past, but it's more a DJ software. I think Winamp/Oddcast is better for encoding. Anyway, I don't know where I get these problems from. I can connect to the server but when I start playing something, it disconnects instantly. It happens very often now, but it seems to happen only on one computer... It might be the Remote Desktop Protocol audio drivers that

how to transform a data file
Hello R people, I have a data file with 101 numeric variables: one variable called IDN (the individual's unique id number, which I need to retain, and which ranges from 1000 to 1320; some numbers are obviously skipped), and V1 to V100 (each has a value of 0 or 1; these 100 variables represent sequentially ordered days and whether a characteristic was present or absent--e.g., v1 is day 1 and a

Polycom c100 XP software drivers on wine?
Hi, I know the answer is probably negative, but there's no harm in asking right? I have a Polycom C100 communicator and from what I can find about it, the real work done to make the audio as good as it is, is done in the software they install on Windows XP. It is a USB connected desktop handsfree mic/speaker device and it does work on Linux O.K. but I get some problems with echo when

Winamp/Oddcast Silent output
Hi everybody, I have an easy question here. Is there any silent output option for Winamp/Oddcast? I have a computer that I use as an encoder but it has no soundcard installed so I am using SAM2 because there is a "Silent output" option in the audio mixer pipeline. It means the sound encoded never passes through the soundcard because everything is managed by the software. I prefer free

Icecast source config
Hello Geoff, we have some clients who encode their MP3 streams themselves. (e.g with DarkIce or SAM2). So it would be nice to define a password for each client, so we can control the acces to the entry server. If we provide one password for all clients it's a kind of hassle to change it. Thanks - Johann Geoff Shang schrieb: > Hi: > > Just curious, why would you want to define
