PHP + parsing # of listeners.
Hello all,
I have a quick question I believed was already touched on earlier, but I cannot
find the thread/information in the archives, so I am going to ask away and
ask for your patience. :)
So I have my wonderful little PHP script, and my .pls files, and the relaying
and everything else perfect for my icecast2 setup. But what I still need to

Whenever I get that error, its due to either the directory/file not existing,
or having the wrong file permissions. Remember, it needs the file permissions
of the user you created to be "icecast".

icecast hangs at start
thanks for the reply.
the problem is after i start icecast with icecast -c
/path to icecast.xml, i see the following:
Changed groupid to 501.
Changed userid to 501.
and then it just hangs. i do not get a command prompt
or anything. so i was wondering if there are any
other messages that normally follow during the startup
process.

make problems on libshout CVS.
Hello, I am having problems compiling libshout out of the CVS. *Grabbed it
ten minutes ago*.
When I run ./autogen.sh, the very last line says:
config.status: error: cannot find input file: src/net/Makefile.in
and when I try to run a make, I get:

FTP transfer file question??
When we used SFTP to transfer file it will keep file property like "create date", "rwx".
For FTP, is option can do that?

Anyone want to be my hero?
Hello everyone,
I've been using icecast 1 for a long time, and icecast2 has become a
very viable alternative now. There is only one small and rather silly
thing holding me back.
I use liveice for everything. Has anyone hacked liveice to work with
icecast2 and ogg? Is anyone writing another client that isn't darkice?

Yep. That one was right on the nose. Sorry about that folks, I was using
the simple "I'm going to the web cvs and downloading the tarball" instead of
cvs -f -d :pserver:anoncvs@xiph.org:/usr/local/cvsroot login way of doing things

I have a bit of a problem with installation. I installed wxX11 in my
linux box. I compiled the demos and all the demos, save dbbrowse,
work. I think I have a functional wx. Now I''m trying to install wxRuby
from source, since I have a 64 bit machine. I only have permission to
my home directory so my installation is :

Not able to get eth0 up on domU.
I am using ttylinux-xen file system image a a loopback device for the
domain. I am mostly using the default configuration. I am not able to
get networking on the domU. Are kernel "vmlinuz-2.6-xenU" as well as
"2.6.11.12-xen0" both compiled w/o loadable module support? I guess it
fails when it tries to initialize the iptables on the domU when it tries
to do "modprobe".

digium HW echocancellation - fax tone detection
Hello !
I 'm using a TE405P with a HW echocanceller module attached on it.
dahdi version is dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.0.2+2.2.0.
As far as I know, the fax tone detection is done on the FW board.
How can I verify that the echo canceller has been turned off ?
When I do a cat /proc/dahdi/1 for span 1 I see still the VPM450 entry
near the channel although this was a fax call with CED tone.
