I have tried to compile icecast 2 by following the instructions on http://www.xiph.org/archives/icecast/2870.html After I upgrated my cvs version i was able to check out the source just as in the above mentioned inscrution, but when doing a ./autogen.sh it gave me the following errors: I am going to run ./configure with no arguments - if you wish to pass any to it, please specify them

Multiple Ogg Streams
>ices2 will encode/reencode/relay to more than one server. I searched for documentation about ices2 and found two, one of them http://quasi.ksl.com/icecast/docs/Unofficial%20Icecast%20HOWTO.pdf where link to the other was incuded (which i found before though). All what I saw was that it only supports encoding streams from soundcard input or playlist, but not a stream (from Oddcast DSP). You

Multiple Ogg Streams
Hello I've been playing around with Icecast, Oddcast DSP v2 and streamTranscoder, trying to get multiple streams with different bitrates in ogg format running. The source I am streaming is from Winamp 2.80 Oddcast DSP v2 serving to a linux compilation (got it from CVS just yesterday) of Icecast 2. I also compiled streamTranscoder 1.1 and after much trial got a not really stable second

compiler warning
Hi again. I just compiled icecast 2. It seemed ok but at the end I got this: /usr/bin/ld: warning: libcom_err.so.2, needed by /usr/lib/libcurl.so, may conflict with libcom_err.so.3 Is this anything I have to take care of? Can you explain what it means? Thanx, Luke <p><p><p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage:

A Top Level README for the nightly CVS snapshot
I ran into a dependency problem while compiling the CVS snapshot which did not occur while compiling the beta 3 tarballs. For some missing resources, autogen.sh echoes very helpful messages (such as if automake is not present), but there was no indication that the kdelibs-devel package was required for ao (in order to get artsc.h into /usr/include - I'm sure it is possible to edit the

You always talk about two instances. Do you really mean two instances of ices2 called seperately? Do I have to make

compile error
Hello, I hope this is the place to bug ppl about compile errors. So here I go. I downloaded the latest through CVS last night and ran ./autogen.sh according to the manual and ran into the following error. Does anyone happen to have a fix for it? I am on FreeBSD 4.6 Stable. Thanks in advance, Till << ./autogen.sh output and error message >> elation# ./autogen.sh I am going to run

Compiling icecast2, libcurl problem
Hi there, I got a question regarding compiling the icecast2-server: When I'm executing the 'sh autogen.sh' command and is checking for libraries, it says that it didn't find the 'libcurl' library, although I have the curl-rpm installed that includes the libcurl (located in /usr/lib). I compiled icecast2 anyway and tried running it. If I try to get the status.xsl

Current Ices2 requirements?
I've been using Ices2 for quite a while with no real problems; fairly stable and does what I want it to. Can't ask for more, eh? :) Anyway, the latest checkouts of CVS won't even get past the ./autogen.sh/./configure portion, so I was wondering if the automake/autoconf requirements had changed recently. This is my setup: Gentoo Linux automake 1.7.5(-r2) autoconf 2.57(-r1) The -r*

Re: Compile DLL for Windows
I would like to know if there is a proper documentation for compiling libvirt for Windows. This is in regard to the latest versions of libvirt. Also, most answers are outdated and the scripts by Matthias Bolte on github don't use the latest versions and patches for libvirt. Regards, Kartik Vaishnav

Errors building 3.6.25 after applying security patches
Hi, I'm attempting to build 3.6.25 after applying the 16-Dec-2015 and the 12-Apr-2016 patches from samba.org but I'm seeing two issues. First during autogen.sh I see: /build/samba/samba-3.6.25/source3 # ./autogen.sh ./autogen.sh: running script/mkversion.sh ./script/mkversion.sh: 'include/version.h' created for Samba("3.6.25") ./autogen.sh: running autoheader -Im4

[PATCH libguestfs] build: revive the ocaml package tests
This reinstates the autogen.sh-based test for the two required ocaml packages. I've tested it by running autoconf.sh first with neither of the two packages installed, then with only ocaml-xml-light installed. In both cases, autogen.sh failed as required. When both were installed, it worked as expected. >From 825d855b225c7c76371c72eae4d505a32c374007 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jim

Need nutdrv_atcl_usb for Windows port
Hello Charles and first of all, thank you so mucho for replying. I really appreciate your help. This is the guide I was talking about: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2016-April/007171.html All the versions of MinGW and msys plugins I'm using are exactly the ones listed on that guide written by Denis Serov. The procedure I used to compile is also the same as Denis

cvs: debian updates and autogen.sh trouble
Hello, I couldn't help noticing that the debian build system in cvs was changed. As I used to compile and install from cvs, I discovered a small problem regarding autogen.sh. It's called in debian/rules, before the obj-dir is created (and changed into and ../configure is started). At least on my system autogen.sh implicitly runs ./configure, so the original source path is already
