Windows ogg stream player?
Is there a good Ogg stream player for Windows? I can't seem to get latest Winamp or zInf working from an Icecast server. Re: iscsi with gluster i want to make it
Hi Viraj, Gluster Ver. 3.x supports replication over WAN but currently very limited. I assume it will expand as time moves on. As for ISCSI. I doubt Glusterfs will ever support ISCSI. ISCSI operates at the block level. Gluster only works on the filesystem level. The only way to have iscsi on Gluster would be to export an iscsi target that is a file on gluster. As for snapshot and

Odd results with %% and conserving memory
Can anyone explain this? I have a matrix with double components. It's taking up a lot of memory, so I want to multiply then turn it to integers. I'm pretty certain that there are only 2 decimal places, but I wanted to check by using modulo. E.g. mat = matrix(11:50/100, ncol=4,nrow=10) #Matrix with values out to the hundredths any((mat * 100)%%1!=0) But oddly enough it doesn't work.

Is there any way to avoid this? [ This is true. We don't inherit the DF (Don't Fragment) flag onto the UDP data, so path MTU discovery doesn't work. We have to fix this. ] Yes, you can avoid this

htb: class isn''t work conserving ?!
I am seeing a lot of messages like this on my console and in /var/log/messages: Feb 9 19:27:55 rnsa kernel: htb: class 20001 isn''t work conserving ?! The class it''s referring to is the only subclass of an HTB qdisc. Can anyone tell me why HTB would complain in this way? If I understand correctly, HTB isn''t a work-conserving qdisc anyway.

Asterisk advanced concepts
Hello, I am interested in knowing what are the advanced topics that can be learned in Asterisk. It would be helpful if there are any reference books or tutorials on Asterisk that cover advanced concepts on Asterisk. Thanks in advance! XScale realtime encoding possible?
Hi, I just did some experiments and it seems like the high system CPU time is not due to one specific part of the code, but rather to the extreme inefficiency of float emulation under Linux. I was expecting float emulation to run something like 30 times slower than integer, but it looks like its more like 3000 times slower. This means that all of the float operations must be removed for the code

Rejecting relay to save bandwidth function in icecast-2.2.0
Hello. Until now I was using icecast-1.3.12 on my fedora box.I was very pleased.I don't know why ;) , but I wanted to upgrade to icecast-2.2.0 and so I did.I'm very pleased with this version too, one thing I don't like: it doesn't reject the relay source when there isn't any client connected to the server, or I don't know how to configure it to do this.I want this

Encryption
Hi all, I recently came across a possible requirement of backing up certain files on a remote server ... in an encrypted format. This got me seriously thinking about the possibility of doing such a thing with rsync. I am not too knowledgable about encryption and the mechanisms of the rsync algorithm (at least as yet :), but I would like to know whether this is attainable or 'far fetched'

htb: class 10007 isn''t work conserving ?!
I''m getting the following error/warning at some point in my config script, and I''m not sure which class it is referring to. htb: class 10007 isn''t work conserving ?! I [think I] understand that htb is a non-work-conserving qdisc, and I [think I] have configured things so that every htb qdisc I instantiate limits the bandwidth, so I don''t understand why this

Relays Ending With "Disconnecting source due to socket timeout"
Greetings: I use Icecast 2.4.0 on Windows 8.1. I have a config file which sets up roughly a dozen relays to connect on demand. My typical use is to connect to 1-4 of the streams simultaneously. All connections are either via WinAmp to 127.0.0.1 or via other clients on my LAN. My intent is to leave the connections active for up to 72 hours. When I connect through my relays, eventually the

Tinc Clients Disconnecting
Hi, Can you help me explain some behaviour please? I've 2 tinc clients that happen to be on the same network and behind the same NAT gateway. They've been working for ages. Without anything changing, they've stopped. They both died, in sequence while I was actively connected to them and using an SSH session. When I check the logs of another tinc node they connect to I see
