Live stream equalizer
Question 2: I've been asked to stream a live event (no music, just talking). the problem is that the audio source is not perfect, having a lot of bass preponderance. Now I have to adjust this audio source or I won't be able to keep the compression standard (16 Kbps). I'm searching for an mp3 streamer with equalizing capabilities that runs under windows. At the moment I'm

Live stream equalizer
I was under the impression that "PCM equalizer" means it only equalizes the PCM codec, i.e. WAV files. Have you noticed a significant quality improvement in the EQ for compressed media: MP3, Vorbis, MPC? ext3 and 2.4.x kernels
Dear list readers - it was brought to my attention that during the upgrade of a server to rh7.2, and selecting the ext3 migration works well with 1 exception that i need verified if i could please. i heard that once you migrate to ext3, you may no longer do a kernel upgrade without downgrading to ext2 and then putting the kernel or AC kernel in place 'patched'. Icecast in Macromedia Flash
Hi Assorgia, Thanks for the flash animation. I think Icecast1 might be the solution. I am just a little bit scared by the message "Note that icecast 1 is deprecated and unsupported, and may possibly induce nausea in small children, hair loss in men, and estrogen fluctuations in women" that appears on the download page. I have a nice blond hair of "Principe Azzuro" that I

encoder->server->listener lag
We're running a setup with M3W on a PC in Sri Lanka, encoding to a server in the UK. What factors govern the time delay between things being said to the microphone in SL and heard by a client connecting to the server, and how can we reduce it as much as possible? Currently we're experiencing 20-30 secs or more.

Vorbis decoders and equalizer
When I activate the equalizer in WinAmp, QCD, and Sonic Foundry SIREN Jukebox, I get a funny "washed out" sound to it. Vorbis sounds fine without it, but I miss the extra bass and what-not. I was wondering why this happens? --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to

Hi, Since a week ago I am trying to get chan_misdn working with asterisk 1.4.19, using HFC based ISDN card on Linux 2.6.22. equalizer api
Somebody reported a bug against zinf that the equalizer did not work with oggvorbis streams. Upon looking, I noticed that while the mp3 decoder (xing) has an equalizer interface to modify the decoding, I could not find an equivalent for ogg. Does the beast exist? Should it? Winamp equalizer problems
I just wanted to know if anyone has noticed a difference between MP3 and OGG encoded files when having the Winamp equalizer switched on? I seem to be missing bass and the sound doesn't fill the room as much with OGG. With the EQ turned off there is no discernable difference between both LAME and Vorbis encoded files (both at an average of 192 kbps). Is this an error with the OGG Winamp plugin?

Proxy ARP with a Coyote Point equalizer
Here is a puzzle. I have a network with several servers. It''s a mess. It''s a /24 and pieces and servers are all over the place inside this /24 block, on both sides of the firewall. For example, the router at 1.2.3.1 is outside the firewall and many of the servers at 1.2.3.nnn/24 are behind the firewall. (Obviously, 1.2.3.nnn is a fudged network.) eth0 points outward to
