Some questions and problems about setting up Icecast2
I've finally decided to take the plunge and set up an Icecast 2 server on my Linux 2.4.18 machine. After asking in #vorbis, I was told that I need ice2 and ices. From what I understand, ice2 is the Icecast2 server, while ices is a program that sends it data to push to its clients. Am I right? After downloading both modules, the first problem I've ran into is executing the

automake problem
Hi again. Which version of automake is used for the sources of icecast (& co)? Which versions of automake will be able to work with the files on cvs? I'd also like to ask you if some of you got to build the icecast 2 sources correctly with redhat 7.2, 7.3 or 8.0. I am getting the following error doing an ./autogen.sh: I am going to run ./configure with no arguments - if you wish to

In your README.md, perhaps "This project intends to provide a straightforward and simple *procedure *to configure FTS plugin for Dovecot, leveraging the efforts by the Xapian.org team." is better?? Also in the part after cloning from git: ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-dovecot=/path/to/dovecot [ This /path/to/dovecot is not obvious. Is it the dovecot binary or what??] On Mon, 14 Jan

build problems (autoconf/libtool)
Hi. I want to add some code to flac and am having trouble building it out of cvs. I've had several problems, most of which were pretty easy to work around or had already been discussed here. But this one has me stumped (though I am admittedly new to autoconf, automake, and libtool). Here's the problem. autoconf does not see any definition for AC_PROG_LIBTOOL. There is such a

Series of cleanups to autotools build config files to utilize the available xorg-server macros, defaults and more closely match other modern Xorg drivers. Notable improvements: - gitignore fully covers potential build artifacts - Simplify logic given stated minimum required version of xorg-server 1.8 - Remove use of deprecated, outdated or no longer required macros - Utilize xorg macros where
