Icecast in Macromedia Flash
Hi Assorgia,
I'm really happy you successfully got it with Mozilla. Where did you get the
headers information? In Icecast2 logs? As soon as I know where to find the
header information sent by IE, I will change the php script to cross the
valid headers information sent by Mozilla with the necessary information
needed by IE. The aim is to give Icecast the impression that the client is
Mozilla.

Well maybe for some of us this will be little surprise.
I've made a sucessful test using icecast 2.0 and the usual flash
movie embedded on a web page, this time opened using Mozilla 1.5
(latest version).
These are the headers I got:

Problems after changing operating system and versions
Dear all,
we have been using samba as PDC with ldap for over a year without any
problems. Now we are trying to switch to a another operating system
version and another samba version and have big problems with
our windows clients (NT, 2000 and XP). Some have problems logging on
to the domain (error C000019B), others give the net helpmsg 3678
(problems saving profile) and/or the netlogon script

Playing a recorded mp3 file like a livestream
Hello,
in advance: You can also answer me in German.
I know Icecast over 10 years very well. My problem is this and I am
trying to describe it very short:
If my Icecast stream/mount is offline, a recorded MP3 file should be
played via the Icecast mount. The mount is configured as follows:
<mount>
<mount-name>/LiveStream1.mp3</mount-name>

Playing a recorded mp3 file like a livestream
Hi,
For question 3, I think there is ezstream (https://icecast.org/ezstream/) which can to an endless loop like you wish. All files should (actually must) be encoded in the format of your stream.
Also I would setup the mpuntpoints in a row:
- live mp with fallback to ezstream mp
- ezstream mp with fallback to static file
So if ezstream fails you deliver the static file.

newbie - simple dialout server
Hello,
I am new to Asterisk, so RTFM answers welcome too (just include the FM's
link :).
I'd like to build a simple dialout server based on Asterisk.
I installed 0.4.0 from package (a Debian SID machine, "server").
The client is gnophone (a Debian SID machine too, "client").
My modem is a GVC 56k voice modem connected to the server's serial port.

[Bridge] I want to RTFM -- so where's the FM?
Hi all,
I'm looking for documentation about the internals of the bridging
software. We're putting together a new chip that incorporates, among
other things, a core for a managed switch and a processor that will be
running Linux. I wanted to have the Linux code (among other things)
field SNMP requests and configure the managed switch. I'm hoping that
it's as simple as

These is my first post to this list, and I want to ask about using of

These are HE-AAC streams. They are working here just fine.
Make sure your player correctly supports HE-AAC streams.

It will play in Windows Media Player 12, however there is a Microsoft bug
(never heard of that), that requires you to click on the seek bar to
actually start the audio output after you have connected to the stream URL.
This only happens on Icecast2 sourced streams, not SHOUTcast, for whatever
reason. I am trying to reach Microsoft about this, but so far, have been
unsuccessful. I just

Good afternoon,
We are long users of Icecast, and recently we are hitting 10/11 on stream now listeners. When we get there we get a message that we are exceeding server listeners. Is there a maximum listener count, is there a way to expand the number of listeners?

An error message with the command fm<-1m

Eric Berger is correct (except for the extra parentheses), but it is worth pointing out that variable names do not begin with digits. (You can use backticks, assign, & other features to create such names (e.g. to write the Orwellian assignment `2 + 2` <- 5L), but they are non-standard and you need special syntax to use them.) Maybe the font makes some
