CSS and TF2 @ 70-100 fps and guildwars around the same... But this is very unstable... And when i walk in the game i had some micro freezes... The game can't be fluid. Same in TF2 /CSS/ Guildwars. RE: [PATCH] - make qemu serial summagraphics settings a bitmore fluid
Ben- I like the idea but I don''t understand how this patch can work: 1) You never put a name into `serial_devices[]'' for the summa port. The loop in `main'' that initializes the serial devices only calls `qemu_chr_open'' if there''s a string name in `serial_devices''. How did you get this to work? 2) Minor point, I don''t see the need

Access denied because of conflicting credentials.
Hi everyone ! I have been working for a long time now on doing file sharing with a samba domain member of a Windows 2000 AD server. My Samba Server is visible in the Windows Network, and I've joined him using : kinit & net ads join... All that is fine, but when I try to access my shares from a W2k client, I receive the following message : Access denied because of conflicting

Some little questions ...
Hi everyone ! I've just some little questions about the samba how-to collection in samba server membership section. It is said : "Testing Server Setup If the join was successful, you will see a new computer account with the NetBIOS name of your Samba server in Active Directory (in the ?Computers? folder under Users and Computers. On a Windows 2000 client, try net use *

Simple broadcasting of radio stream
Howdy, been using icecast for a couple years now, and am wanting to move to the latest icecast and ices. I downloaded and compiled icecast-1.3.12 and ices-0.2.2 and they installed nicely. I got icecast to work alright with liveice, but I would like to test ices. I have been mucking about with the config file, but it keeps asking for a playlist. I simply want to re-encode the radio audio stream

Thunderbird or Dovecot bug? (multiple keywords)
Here's a strange one. I have a user who's using Thunderbird 2.0.0 and assigning multiple tags (keywords) to emails, which are getting "lost" (I'll explain) when he leaves the folder and comes back. I can reproduce this on *his* account myself, but cannot reproduce it on *my* account (separate new TBird 2.0.0 profiles on Windows XP). Use the two TBird default tags

More FlacPak stuff
For those who are interested in checking out my initial specification for the FlacPak format, I updated the web pages at: http://swami.sourceforge.net/flacpak.php The direct link to the specification notes: http://swami.sourceforge.net/flacpak_format.php For those who weren't reading the previous threads, FlacPak is a format being designed to handle compression of files containing binary and

Calling R from a Perl script: much slower?
Hello list, I use R for microarray analysis. One procedure I use takes a large matrix, and loops through it looking for specific rows, does an operation with them, and outputs a result (single row) as a row of another matrix. The loop goes on about 25000 times. When I run the loop directly from the R console itself, it takes about 3 minutes in my computer. I'm ok with that. Now,

4 Final, RC1 -> Final?
Build team -- what's our current outlook on the 4 Final release shaping up to be (ie, this week, next week, a month..)? Should it be further out, would it be relatively painless to 'upgrade' (so to speak) from the current RC1 to Final when it rolls around? thanks! -te (I have a new project server waiting in limbo, would like to at least get started - nonproduction) -- Troy
