Hello, I'm looking for ideas here. I'm sure it's easy, but cant quite get what I need. I am looking for a way to encode everything from the soundcard into a .ogg, on the fly. Hello, I just got iceast + ices setup. I'm streaming from a playlist and it streams/play just fine, however, it doesn't seem to be that random. It is randomly picking through the first "grou" but not the rest. e.g. the playlist.txt file has full paths to the ogg files, which are in different subdirectories according to artist. icecast2 is a broadcast server and will broadcast both ogg vorbis and mp3 streams. This assumes that you have a source client which can produce an ogg vorbis and mp3 stream and send it TO an icecast2 server. Hi, I'm trying to run 2 streams from ices, both from separate playlists. I have each defined separately in my configuration (2 different stream entries). I go to listen to the second stream and it plays fine, but the first stream is playing from the same playlist. Could anyone suggest what might be wrong? ogg123 seems to have a issue when streaming for long peroids of time. If I have ogg123 up connected to a streaming server for more than 3.5 hours it begins to stutter or add blocks of static. I've verifed this with 2 different soundcards in both alsa oss emulation and regular oss. It's 100% repeatable for me. It does not happen with xmms using libvorbis as the output plugin so it
