compiling ices on solaris 9 / sparc
Hello,
Perhaps foolishly I am trying to migrate my icecast 1.3.12 / ices 0.2.3 /
LAME-3.92 from linux to solaris on sparc. icecast and LAME compiled, but
when I tried to get ices to build the following occurred. I tried to
confirm all needed libs, but must have not found something.
Any help appreciated! Thanks... error follows. -Dave D

You have an old version of libshout installed. The configure script
should probably be updated to check for shout_strerror instead of
shout_init_connection, but in the meantime either remove your old
libshout (probably in /usr/local) or try compiling

how to call function in ../src/main
Hi, This is Kotien Wu from NIH/NCI.
We want to use R function for our web:
http://cgap.nci.nih.gov
It works for functions in R/R-1.9.1/src/nmath/standalone very well.
We have function GetPvalueForT.c which has
#define MATHLIB_STANDALONE 1
#include <Rmath.h>
double GetPvalueForT ( double t, double deg ) {
return 2 * pt(t, deg, 0, 0);
}
We create GetPvalueForT.i, which has

Asterisk 1.8 Installation Problem
Hi,
We want to upgrade both our servers to asterisk 1.8, the one from Romania and the one from Chicago, but for the moment I`m trying to install Asterisk 1.8 on a test machine running CentOS 5.5 with the kernel: Linux asterisk3 2.6.18-194.17.4.el5PAE #1 SMP Mon Oct 25 16:35:27 EDT 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux .
I`ve tried many things from the forums and mailing lists but none seemed to help me.

./configure --prefix=/opt/R

did not work, complaining when building help/docs.
It claims to have problems perl (which has worked fine so far)
but in practice it is not only a documentation problem:
if I force "make install" and run R, then it

Hi there,
I am currently working in a research institute and I have only a reduced account. My aim is to install the New version of R under my own directory to prove the advantages of this version to my IT service to lead them to install it on the full server.
So I download the last .tar.gz file
I used "gunzip" and "tar -xf" without any problems (hopefully!)

Though in theory it could be done (but neither icecast nor ices support it),
this wouldn't do what you want it to, since no _clients_ would support it.
