Repost: Directory server.
Hi, Is there any documentation or possibly an open directory server project underway? <p> -- Colin Faber (303) 736-5160 fpsn.net, Inc. * Black holes are where God divided by zero. * --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing

<fileserve>
Hi, While digging through the icecast2 xml configuration I noticed the option <fileserve>1</fileserve>. From what I could tell this is a totally undocumented feature and was wondering what exactly it was used for. <p> -- Colin Faber (303) 736-5160 fpsn.net, Inc. * Black holes are where God divided by zero. * --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/

Hi all, Has anyone successfully managed to get icecast2 libshout2 and Shout.pm built under freebsd? o far I've been able to build all of them except for Shout.pm. I would like to migrate from icecast1 however I can't do so until I can get everything built. Here is the error I'm having trying to build Shout.pm from the FreeBSD ports tree. # make cc -c -I/usr/local/include -O -pipe

What to do with ODD encoder for AudioGrabber Cd-Ripper ?
Once i've run into misfeature. I've grabbed an Audio CD with one of russian opera's, and its comment been wirttenas a 8-bit ANSI text. When i tried to play them in WnAMP - the comments were unreadable. Peter (the author of WinAMP OGG plugin) told me, that the comments must be encoded using UTF-8. I wrote it to the author of AudioGrabber and he told me he will forward it to plugin

[PATCH 1/2] vfs: re-implement writeback_inodes_sb(_nr)_if_idle() and rename them
writeback_inodes_sb(_nr)_if_idle() is re-implemented by replacing down_read() with down_read_trylock() because - If ->s_umount is write locked, then the sb is not idle. That is writeback_inodes_sb(_nr)_if_idle() needn''t wait for the lock. - writeback_inodes_sb(_nr)_if_idle() grabs s_umount lock when it want to start writeback, it may bring us deadlock problem when doing umount.

Trivial patch: update README about AIX port status
Hi All. As of now, openssh on AIX passes all regressions tests (and, yes, I just checked!), works with privsep, bugzilla has zero open AIX-specific bugs and IBM ship it essentially unmodified as a supported product. I think it's beyond "support underway" :-) -Daz. -- Darren Tucker (dtucker at zip.com.au) GPG key 8FF4FA69 / D9A3 86E9 7EEE AF4B B2D4 37C9 C982 80C7 8FF4 FA69

files-from and filter from one file?
Hi, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have tried millions of combinations of settings. Is it possible to somehow combine --files-from and --filter into one file, so that I can use one here-document? Using the + directive in --filter seems to always give me slightly different results. What I do now is without --files-from, but it means the directory tree is not recreated on the

steam games are missing
I've installed steam and it runs (extremely slow though), but when I log in and open the my games tab none of my games are shown. I know the games are still registered to my account though because when i use my old windows computer they are still all there. Also when I tried to repurchase one of my games I was told that the software i wanted to purchase wasn't available in my location yet

[LLVMdev] VLIW code generation for LLVM backend
Larin, Thank you for telling me about this. Our lab is planning to design a VLIW DSP and has to make a choice between GCC and LLVM, for which I take responsibility. As we all know that GCC's codes possess a long history and has a somewhat bad learning curve, I suggest choosing LLVM. It seems now the only drawback is its poor support for VLIW architecture. And so if we can count on

logging messages
Hi all, I'm trying to learn R from an non-statistician's POV. I've got a statistician who uses R, but I'm the schmuck who has to integrate his R functions into an automated process. One of the things I would really like is the ability to log messages to file, specifically using syslog on a Linux box. (I also want to write messages to STDOUT based on a command-line flag, but I

[PATCH] Btrfs: stop using try_to_writeback_inodes_sb_nr to flush delalloc
try_to_writeback_inodes_sb_nr returns 1 if writeback is already underway, which is completely fraking useless for us as we need to make sure pages are actually written before we go and check if there are ordered extents. So replace this with an open coding of try_to_writeback_inodes_sb_nr minus the writeback underway check so that we are sure to actually have flushed some dirty pages out and will
