syntax for playlist
I should be more specific . What I meant to ask was - is it necessary for the directory that icecast streams or serves files from to "everyone" or the "world" have at least read permissions. I do plan to experiment with the permisions but I was just asking to see if any one had already tried this. I like to lock down my system as much as possible.
Thanks for the help!

[Re: icecast2 ??]
Dear list,
I agree with the main points that have been stated here lately -- icecast2
appears not ready for prime time (because of lack of web presence / tarball and
rpm downloads / some documentation on line) and icecast1 community needs a
support forum if this list no longer is one.
It would be so simple to spell out the statuses on www.icecast.org -- Status of
icecast1, status of

xen 3.0.1, mdadm and DEBUG problem
hi,
i''ve a little problem here with raid1 inside domU. My setup is, two block
devices (gnbd) attached to domU (sda1, sdb1) and build raid1 inside domU.
All works fine (mdadm --remove, block-detach, resize, block-attach, mdadm
-add) except the part where i want to grow my raid to the new size (mdadm
--grow .. --size=max). Sometimes (when not much fs load is done in domU) it
works and

With all due respect, this is ridiculous. You're saying that the site
icecast.org, which was the home page for icecast 1.x for serveral years,
is a 'zombie webserver' that has nothing to say about icecast, be

wine and myth ii soulblighter update edition: help needed
I'm using the 2005, May 24 version of Wine that I downloaded,
compiled and installed myself via wineinstall
I installed Myth II from CD and then upgraded it to 1.5.1c using the
patches from projectmagma.
I can startup Myth to the initial menu screen but I can go no
further... the mouse just sits there jerking back and forth.
The entire error log is here:

fixme:font:load_VDMX Failed to retrieve vTable
When I run the Setup.exe for Myth II: Soulblighter, none of the text
that the installer renders is visible. Instead, I mainly see little
boxes where the text should be.
I am running Fedora Core 4. This did not happen under Fedora Core
3. And yes, I did rebuild wine. And I got Wine via CVS last night.
The error/warning message I get is in the Subject:
