Hello, I have a weird problem. If I use winamp to stream to my icecast server, I can give it any password (even the incorrect one) and it logs in fine and sends the stream to the server. If I use Ices, if I use the password supplied in the icecast.conf file and give it to the ices configuration file, it kicks this: Failed connecting to server 127.0.0.1, error: Could not login on server.

Okay, I did this right months ago, but somehow lost the recipe. When I run ices with icecast running, I get You have no libxml support. The config file you just specified cannot be used. Ices Exiting... I installed the rpms for libxml and libxml-devel. Howdy, Im looking for some help on getting ices to compile with lame support. My goal is to get it compiled to I can do on the fly re-encoding. My problem.. When I run make on ices, I get the following error.... I see that libxml1-1.8.17 and libxml-2.5.10 are installed. is this perhaps the problem? I've been trying to compile ices and icecast all night. I have narrowed the problem down to libxml. I have tried several rpms of libxml2 and libxml2-devel all to no avail.
