matching pairs regardless of order,multiple matches
Dear Jim and Henrique,
thank you both for your help. I have done this but run into another problem:
?
In the example?below "loc1,loc2" occurs in the (now correct, thanks to your advice) "list" twice. ?
?
trips=("loc1,loc2","loc2,loc3")

DF$listoftrips=("loc1,loc2", "loc1,loc3", "loc2,loc3","loc1,loc2").

matching pairs regardless of order
Dear list,
?
I am using match() to match pairs of locations, e.g. trip="loc1,loc2" from a list of such pairs, e.g. list=("loc1,loc2", "loc1,loc3", "loc2,loc3","loc2,loc1").
?
In this example match() will match "trip" with the first element of "list", but not the 4th, because the order is reversed.
?
How can I get a match with

How to multiply all dataframe rows by another dataframe's columns
Hello,
I have two data frames, X and Y, with two columns each and different numbers
of rows.

[LLVMdev] Incorrect result in LLVM Alias Analysis
I want to check if the values a and b in the program alias.
int main() {
int *a,*b;
a=(int *)malloc(sizeof(int));
b=(int *)malloc(sizeof(int));

I use the below code for this (getAnalysisUsage method has been defined)

Way to handle variable length and numbers of columns using read.table(...)
I've got read.table to successfully read in my table of three columns. Most of the time I will have a set number of rows, but sometime that will be variable and sometimes there will be only be two variables in one row, e.g.
Time Loc1 Loc2
1 22.33 44.55
2 66.77 88.99
3 222.33344.55
4 66.77 88.99
Is there any way to have read.table handle (1) a variable number of rows, and (2) sometime there

Hi,
why doesn't this work properly when 'positions' is a vector of strings? All
the data sets get totally mixed...

Migrate rules from iptables to shorewall - SNAT
Hi all,
I''m using Shorewall since one year (1.4, then 2.0)
I''m trying to migrate a linux firewall from iptables rules to shorewall.
The firewall has three zones
- net internet
- loc1 lan
- loc2 second lan
I have a lot of rules like this, to SNAT the ip addresses of some
computers on loc1 (192.168.16.0/24) when they connect to loc2 (10.0.0.0/8)
iptables -v -t nat -I

OT: ps -> eps -> MS Word
I've created a bunch of postscript trees (post.rpart), which I subsequently
edit in Adobe Acrobat 4.05 (I need additional labelling that isn't easy to
add with R). After editing the labels and annotations using Acrobat, I
then export the file to Adobe's .eps format so I can insert the picture
into a Microsoft Word 2000 document. The .pdf file distilled from the .ps
file is

[LLVMdev] Improving the quality of debug locations / DbgValueHistoryCalculator
Here is a proposal for improving DbgValueHistoryCalculator and the
overall quality of debug locations.
Focus: This is about lowering the DBG_VALUE machine instructions to
DWARF location lists.
Non-focus: This is not about (typical -O0) variables that permanently
reside at a frame index and are described with dbg.declare intrinsics
in the IR. These variables are stored in the MMI side-table and

cascading LANs
I have a DMZ (eth2: 10.0.100.0) and a LOC1 (eth0: 10.0.0.0) defined on my firewall.
On one of the port on the switch serving LOC1 I have now a router and a switch
feeding a bunch of computers with net=10.0.200.0.
While I have defined a route to reach LOC2, I would like to define also a specific
zone in order to assign different rules to it.
Is it possible ? if yes, what is the syntax of the

DHCP+Firewall configuration
Hi. I have a Linux box with two network interfaces. The local interface has an alias so it can listen to two (completely) different subnets. I need to configure a Firewall and a DHCP server in the same machine. I have:
eth0 > net
eth1 > loc1
eth1:1 > loc2
If my DHCP server will use eth1 IP address (main IP address for that interface), How do I specify the ''dhcp'' option

Multiple location DC's with same hostnames
Hi,
Not sure exactly how I would word the subject line so appologies in advanced.
We are trying to accomplish the following scenario:
Location 1:
PDC: fs01.loc1.example.com
IP: 10.0.0.1
Location 2:
SDC: fs01.loc2.example.com
IP: 10.0.1.1
Clearly when we join the SDC to the PDC there is a naming conflict. The end result would be to have clients at each site resolve the fs01 name to

Help linking subnets
Hi, after trying for days I ended up with a working tinc configurazion of 2
subnets, now my goal is to add 2 more subnets and comunicate.
I might seem dumb at this point but honestly I don't work in IT or
Networking stuff, and so I dont have that deep knowledge.
A little explanation of my configuration is
