live365
Another, but more recent problem, I am having is Live365. I haven't done much work with it, but can you relay to Live365 properly? They give me an ip and it works, but I don't show up in their listings, and the song title doesn't show up in the client's mp3player. (whereas if someone listens to the local broadcast they do get the song titles). Using latest, from CVS, Icecast

I want to have mulitple ices streams running with different playlists and different stream names and control them using the signals. I start one ices process and it writes a file ices.pid to the /tmp directory and I can control it sy sending it

A Practical Question.
I've written a few times, but haven't seen any responses, so please forgive me if this has been answered. How many max users can be served by IceCast? We can't seem to serve more than 40 users at a time and I have no idea what to do at this point. Any suggestions? This is what everything is set to: max_clients 100 max_clients_per_source 100 max_sources 5 max_admins 5 throttle 1.0

Re-inventing the Wheel (again?)
I''m new to puppet and working my way through the documentation. I''m struggling with the puppet labs module repo. I''ve toyed with numerous automation and configuration methodologies over the decades. Perhaps I''m seeing puppet wrong, Compared with CFEngine there is a a lot I like, but I''m not sure why I''m still having to re-invent the

lm() with same formula but different column/factor combinations in data frame
Hi, I am trying to find an efficient way of applying a linear regression model to different factor combinations in a data frame. I want to obtain the output with minimal or no use of loops if possible. Please let me know if this query is unclear. Thanks, Murtaza

pam_ldap + nss_ldap, su(1), group wheel and pam_group
Hello, Freebsd-security. What is proper way to mix pam_ldap/nss_ldap (no users but root in local files), su(1) and check for group `wheel'? "files" source should have precedence over "ldap" in /etc/nsswitch.conf, for changing user/group by daemons before full network configuration, and for local "root" has priority over any LDAP ones. roll wheel on desktop to switch viewport
Hi. After some time using Quinn's Compiz I returned to Vanilla, which is more stable to me. There's a feature I do miss from Quinn's package, though, and it's the ability to change viewports by rolling the mouse wheel over the desktop. Would it be possible to mimic that behavior in Vanilla? Thanks in advance.

lost scroll wheel of Intellimouse Explorer 4.0 on 7.0-STABLE
Hello, Today I updated my desktop PC from FreeBSD 7.0R to 7-STABLE. After that, the scroll wheel of my Intellimouse Explorer 4.0 (USB wired) stopped working. I searched relevant information and found kern/123224 "[ums] Scroll wheel breakage w/ USB MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0". The symptom is quite similar. ums0: <Microsoft Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer, class 0/0, rev

Why app_rx and app_tx when we have IAXModem and Hylafax and hy-email2fax? Should we reinvent the wheel?
I'm just wondering here, in our community... Why not HylaFax for Fax solutions? I'm not saying bad about the big efforts on app_tx and app_rx with spandsp. But as me and many other asterisk users, we find out that Hylafax+IAXModem+Asterisk is very reliable. And from what i've been testing and reading, Hylafax is an extremely powerful: "HylaFAX is an enterprise-class system for

[LLVMdev] [LNT] Does LNT's mouse wheel zooming work well anywhere?
This is only a minor annoyance, but mouse wheel zooming on LNT graphs is pretty broken on at least OSX. It does not work correctly on Chrome, Safari or Firefox. On Safari and Chrome the zoom is way to sensitive, on Firefox, the page scrolls while mouse wheel zooming. This appears to be a limitation of the flot graphing package we use. Does LNT’s mouse wheel zooming work better for people Linux

O.T. Wheel mouse
Slightly off topic, but wanted to ask. Is there any first source/seconds or third source application that can be used to speed up the movement of the wheel mouse? It's painfully slow compared to my "normal" usage on a windows box. Or, are there any quick hacks that can be made to speed up the wheel in the Xconfig? Why I reinvented the wheel with M3F
Hi ogg-dev list, I am not trying to ?get someone?. But I though this form would indeed prove successful in making my point. Here we go: I got accused of ?reinventing the wheel? for this little media description format of mine. Fare enough. But I wanted to show everyone why it is sometimes best to sometings that has been done before all over. See the attached document. It uses existing
