copies of RE: what I'd like to do
Why do I have a couple hundred copies of this email? Are others on the list
getting multiple copies? I've gotten a copy every hour and 20 minutes since
4/5.
They're being sent from the listserver too:

URGENT: security exploit fix
To all users:
The recently exploits announced at bugtraq can be fixed by the following
patch. This patch should fix a few other potential holes as well, and I
will post a followup patch soon that is even more thorough.
Note: this exploit would give the attacker priviledges of the user
running icecast. If you are running icecast as a normal user account or
as root, this would be a good time to

copies of RE: what I'd like to do
I'm not getting copies of it, so I don't think it's going to the entire
list.
Is your mailserver accepting mail, but saying it's down? Are you
getting copies of other messages?
I suppose this could be a result of the mailservers's moving. Can
anyone else confirm that they do or do not get copies of emails every 20
minutes?
If it's just you, then it will help track it

Gah! I must have been seeing things while looking at the whois info..
Thanks for pointing out. :) I was figuring out why vorbis.com has not
resolved lately as it should have been and somehow I fixated on the expire
dates..
Anyway, despite my eyes, the fact remains that vorbis.com has problems
resolving. Primary

CCISS driver on HP DL380 G3 ?
Hi.
I am trying to boot Xen 2.0.5 on an HP DL380 G3. It won''t. The box has
an "HP Smart Array 5i" that when running normal Linux is handled by the
CCISS driver. I suspect that this is what is not supported in the stock
Xen kernel. Am I correct that I need to build a kernel from source ?
According to

Rails with BitKeeper
Hi,
I''m currently writing a Rails app, in a repository controlled by
BitKeeper.
BitKeeper creates files, in the sub-directories it controls, so for
source file yyy.zzz in Directory XXX it saves a file called
s.yyy.zzz in subdirectory XXX/SCCS.
When these files are created in config/initializers, rails tries to
load them when it is run (as they retain the .rb extension).
So my question

migration to BitKeeper
If you only run released (rather than development) versions of rsync
then you can skip this message.
rsync's source tree has been converted from CVS to BitKeeper. This message
contains brief instructions for people who want to track development or
make contributions. I think it should take about 30-60 minutes to get
started with BK. I hope you will agree that it is worthwhile.

bitkeeper repository moved to cvs
The BitKeeper repository has been taken down, and all the code moved
into CVS.
While BitKeeper is a superior source management tool to CVS in many
ways, it lacks in one important way, Freedom. With the recent change
to their license, taking away more of our freedoms, I felt it was time
to go back to CVS.
All the code has been imported into the xiph.org CVS repository. I'll

using rake test_unit on Bitkeeper repository
Hi,
I''m writing an RoR application on a source-control system Bitkeeper.
for each source file yyy.zzz in Directory XXX it saves a file called
x.yyy.zzz in subdirectory XXX/SCCS.
when I try to run ''rake test_unit'' it also tries to execute the files of
the bitkeeper as unit tests, which of course fails.
Is there a way to tell rake to skip all the files in the SCCS

Grandstream Budgetone BT-101 audio problems
Hi all,
I'm having a really frustrating time with a bunch of BT-101 phones.
They've been trouble-free and working very well for the past several
months. A couple of days ago, some of the phones (but not all of them,
yet) have started acting very strangely. All phones are running
firmware 1.0.6.7, and are identically configured (except for the
user/authenticate/password things) on both the

move rsync development tree to BitKeeper?
Andrew and I thought it might be an interesting experiment to move
rsync to using BitKeeper rather than CVS for source code control.
For a project with rsync's size and activity CVS is actually fine, but
it would be a nice "toe in the water" with BitKeeper to get some
practical experience before possibly using it on larger projects. BK
is moderately well-proven on open source

We run all used disks through a shredder before surplusing any systems,
and we are just a manufacturing company dealing with internal corporate
IT stuff. the shredder is a truck from a 'data destruction'
