Have rebuilt from scratch and it still exhibits the timing problems.

Multiple Beginner Questions
Hi Everyone -- First and foremost, I'd like to thank the creators of Icecast and all the ancillary tools. Most excellent work! I'm running a somewhat unique radio station called LamRim Radio which hosts Tibetan Buddhist teachings and recently hosted a semi-real-time teaching by His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet... http://www.lamrim.com/ Icecast has been the enabling

VBR reencoding @128k problem
I did some further investigating into this issue and here's what I found: It appears somewhere between ices0.1.0 and ices 0.2.0 is where the "bug" (for lack of a better term) was introduced that i'm noticing. When I compile ices0.2.0 w/lame 3.89beta, the VBR is *NOT* reencoded, but instead streamed out at full VBR bitrate(s). However, when using ices0.1.0 w/lame 3.89beta, it

Stuttering stream after 1 minute
After one minute of connection the stream from our icecast 1.3.10 server (debian package 1.3.10-2) starts stuttering. And after some stuttering the client is disconnected by the server. The usual client is a windows winamp. The icecast logs shows that the the client is not receiving data fast enough. A small part out the logs is shown below. That the data is not received fast enough is rediculous

Streaming MP3's from Asterisk with Ices
I am trying to stream an mp3 file from an Asterisk meetme conference. Ices and Icecast are streaming mp3 files on their own. I have looked at the info on the wiki and the various readme files. It appears you need to use Ices2 to work with the confirguration file that Asterisk gives you, but it calls Ices. Ices2 appears to only stream ogg files and i would like to stream an mp3 file. Being

Tweaking Questions.
It looks like we have things running and just have a few questions: 1- What MIME type and extentsion do we need to open a player through Apache, currently what happens is that it attempts to download the entire folder containing the mp3's instead of opening up the player (this happens at http://www.xxx.com:8000). 2- How can you create a playlist? Currently it just plays the mp3's and

Sacrilege, but...
Hi all, I'm afraid that having spent yet another entire day floundering around in the world of icecast, I've really now got to the point of asking a difficult question. I set up an icecast server back in early 1999, and it seemed to work fine for months. We had a server crash here that meant I had to go and reget the sources to rebuild, and ever since then it has been nothing but
