ices 0.4 can't find playlists...
Hello,
I've compiled and successfully run icecast2 with ices on a single
stream. But I'm running into problems running multiple streams from
ices to icecast...
I used the <playlist>...</playlist> syntax to run a single stream, but
the docs on icecast.org seem to suggest using the <input>...</input>
syntax instead. I've actually tried it both ways, with

Broken config/lighttpd.conf? (in EdgeRails)
I''m using Mac OS X, I installed Ruby/Rails/lighttpd/etc via the
instructions from hivelogic. I think I''ve found a bug with
EdgeRails, but I''m not sure how to submit it (and maybe I''m doing
something wrong and someone can just point me in the right
direction). Anyway I thought I''d report it just in case it is a bug.

place 4 ini files
Dear expeRts,
I collect some lab specific functions for a package.
Some of this functions need initial data
(ini files written in R-code). My question is:
Where is the place in the package structure for such files;
how to load the files?
I think something like:
source(paste(R.home(),"/library/__pkg__/data/__.ini.R", sep=""))
looks a bit clumsy.
I haven't find something

[LLVMdev] seeking a mailing list for llvm ports
Hi - sorry to intrude, but can somebody point me to a suitable mailing
list where a tyro can get some advice on modifying an existing llvm
llvm assembler ... rather lightly?
I want to add an extra instruction to the assembler/machine code
supported by the OR1K llvm port.
Well, there are a few more things I need to do, but that will be
good enough to start with!

finding dedicated indexes?
Hi,
I've got a matrix of two columns, say:
> d <- t(array(1:20,dim=c(2,10)))
> d
[,1] [,2]
[1,] 1 2
[2,] 3 4
[3,] 5 6
[4,] 7 8
[5,] 9 10
[6,] 11 12
[7,] 13 14
[8,] 15 16
[9,] 17 18
[10,] 19 20
now I need those values from column #2 where column #1 is equal to
certain values. eg.:
> i <- c(13,5,19)

Index vectors get overwriten ?!
Hello,
For some analysis of a mesh structure I need to prepare several vectors
of indexes of different length. This is done by the following code
sequence (including diagnostic output):
#--------------------------------------------------
MT_ind <- which(V1.frame[,2] %in% mm[,1])
print("M_ind")
str(M_ind)
Q1_ind <- which(V1.frame[,2] %in% mq1)
print("Q1_ind")

[LLVMdev] Shouldn't tools and projects in .gitignore go to .gitmodules?
I think it is erroneous to have the subrepository projects and tools listed in .gitignore.
Instead of being ignored, methinks they should be listed as submodules in .gitmodules:
[submodule "tools/clang"]
path = tools/clang
url = ../clang.git
[submodule "projects/compiler-rt"]
path = projects/compiler-rt
url = ../compiler-rt.git

Conditional statement style
This is a bit of a nuby question methinks but i''ve had a play/search
around and it''s just bugging me now :0)
Say I have a conditional statement, testing a variable against a number
of values. The first way i did this is like so:
if myvar != "" and myvar != 0 and myvar != nil
# .. code
end
This seems a bit messy - is there neater way of doing this? I thought of:

Windows 7/Samba unable to log in via name, works by IP
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help with this. We have a 3.3.8 Samba server, on
Centos 5.5 64, security DOMAIN, works beautifully with XP. When windows
7 systems attempt to log in via \\NAME, the login window just
continually repeats, but they can login successfully when using \\IP_ADDRESS
Samba log shows the below in response to windows 7 login attempts.

[PATCH] drm: Generalized NV Block Linear DRM format mod
Builds upon the existing NVIDIA 16Bx2 block linear
format modifiers by adding more "fields" to the
existing parameterized
DRM_FORMAT_MOD_NVIDIA_16BX2_BLOCK format modifier
macro that allow fully defining a unique-across-
all-NVIDIA-hardware bit layout using a minimal
set of fields and values. The new modifier macro
DRM_FORMAT_MOD_NVIDIA_BLOCK_LINEAR_2D is
