similar to: Trying to get Icecast running

The main stream is going to a Shoutcast server via Winamp. Works fine. A Relay stream goes to Live365. Works fine. I set up a Relay under SAM to point to the Icecast server running on another box on the network. In SAMs Realy section it tells me that it's connected - and Icecast seems to be telling me the same thing. Obviously I'm missing something in the setup of IceCast - I think?

Both ports are enabled. Here is the actual ouput, maybe someone can make more sense of it. I hope this is not too obvious, but you failed you mention the MP3 encoder that you are using with Liveice. I have been fiddling with the darn thing for three days now, and i am at whits end. I dunno why it isn't working. Any help is so much appreciated. I am trying to use mpg123, liveice and icecast on my Alpha. It does not have a sound card. All three programs compile without any problems. I've installed icecast. Then I run the server in the bg. I can encode to it from winamp just fine, but I cant seem to stream from it. The icecast verbose messages say "Kicking unknown #3 (hostmask) [no encoder]" or something along those lines. Does this have something to do with my deny/allow settings?
