You're going to need root access. Presumably you have it if you have control over icecast. You could do a simple adduser. Then use your favorite editor and open up the /etc/passwd file (again as root). You'll need to read up on what each of the fields are, but in short you'll want to * the password field for that new user. You'll also want to change the shell to /bin/false.

Hello, I've got installed icecast 1.3.10 and it worked great since the release of it. But today I noticed that it stopped logging. I can see that it is touching the logfiles (accesstime is changing, lsof shows it) but nothing is appended to them. Also a restart dosn't help. I am using contour to draw contour lines onto a photo (jpeg) of a leaf on a white background. I have two problems: 1) The contour gets plotted at right angles to the jpeg image.
