[PATCH 0/1] opusenc support for WavPack input
This patch to opus-tools adds optional support to WavPack
lossless format as input to opusenc.
Like support to FLAC, it depends on an external library,
libwavpack, and may be disabled on configure.

Fink's vorbis-tools patch
Thought this might be useful to at least consider being included in 1.0.1.
It adds, among other things (maybe), an endian variant of AIFF-C.

Request for Comments: multi-channel/32 bit WAV patch for oggenc
List,
Some time ago, Jose A. Peirote (Tebasuna in the HA community) started
a thread[1] in the HA forums to improve oggenc. He has since posted a
patch[2] in Trac.
I have tested it and it appears to work, though I have to confess not
knowing much of multi-channel encoding (I only work with stereo). The
other issues it supposedly fix seem to work, too, though I did not
experiment with 4+ GB

[PATCH] Support for Ambisonics
Hi Drew,
Sorry for the delay.
FYI the patch that you attached is not your latest version. This
thread that you replied to is an older thread; the latest version is
on a different thread.
The patch does not use the mapping family numbers used by libopus and
libopusenc; could you update it to use family 2 and 3 rather than 254
and 253?
The patch also appears to break encoding of surround files

2 questions on flac files with internal cue sheet.
Hi,
I made backup-copies of several CDs.
First I used eac (exactaudiocopy) for exact ripping to a single wav-file with
cue sheet.
Then I used
flac --cuesheet=<cuefile> <wavfile>
to get a flac file with internal cue sheet.
I am on a linux system. eac is running in a vmware-windows (actually, eac is
the only reason that I have a windows version running).
At this point I have two

[PATCH] Support for Ambisonics
Since the opusenc and opusinfo changes were independent I split them
up and landed the opusinfo changes (with updated mapping family
numbers).

is this null block OK?
Hi,
A system running ext3 crashed this afternoon (nothing to do with ext3, bad
network driver). Is was saving a file from emacs when it happened. The
file system is 0.06b and had ordered data as the mount option. Let me
emphasize this was running ext3 pure, not with SnapFS or InterMezzo layered
on top of it.
strace reveals that Emacs does

Hello ... and a few comments.
Hi,
I'm new here. This is all good news. I work on SGI systems and
have built the encoder and decoder to work on SGI. I have also
added code to the decoder_example so it writes out an "aifc"
file using the SGI AF library.
I had some compile problems for the main code using good old plain
IRIX "cc". Simple fixes as follows ...
In any source module which uses

CVS, etc...
This is the first time I have gotten to the point of wanting to submit
code to (what I would consider) a major project. Specifically, I have made
a small change to oggenc/audio.c. I will explain the change if necessary,
but that us not the purpose of this post.
Primarily, I want to know how to submit changes? Mail it to someone?
Via CVS commit? If CVS, how do I get access?
Also, I

5.1 surround channel coupling

May I ask what this "pan filter" is?
I made some tentative suggestions for coupling Ambisonic B-format in a post
"Vorbis Ambisonic coupling" on 4feb07
I gather from the last monthly meeting, that some of you, including Monty, had problems with the phase behaviour of B-format.
Would anyone like a

Skeleton output support in oggenc
Hi,
I have just made a patch to support skeleton output in oggenc. The
feature is disabled by default and can be enabled by using either -k
or --skeleton switch.
You can find the patch attached with the following ticket
http://trac.xiph.org/ticket/1008
MikeS or anyone with detail knowledge of oggenc. I changed the
oe_options and oe_enc_options data structure. Let me know if there's a

encode, decode and encode again
(I've already posted this message month ago, but nobody answered, may be
it was not delivered to newsgroup?)
Hello, All.
I wrote an encoder-decoder based on example from OGG-Vorbis SDK.
This encoder can encode a large amount of small WAV-files with equal
parameters into one sound archive.
Then I decode this sound archive back into large amount of small
WAV-files.

[vorbis-tools] Some patches coming from Debian bugs
Hello.
Attached are some patches that some Debian users of vorbis-tools have
sent to our BTS over the years (numbers refer to Debian bugs).
It'd be nice to see them integrated. They apply cleanly to SVN as of
today.
The largefile_support one is a bit bigger than just the configure.ac
since the submitter adviced that config.h got included in all C source
files before the standard includes,
