Hi all,
I have an activation model that when constructed should set the key
(column in the activations table) to test.
class Activation < ActiveRecord::Base

this.key = "test"

When i do ac = Activation.new I gget

Samba4 DC/AD documents created in redirected folders with bogus UID
My up-front apologies if this topic has been covered. This is my first time
using this list and I don't know how to search for existing topics yet ...
I installed Samba4 on Linux Slackware 64 version 14.1 about 6 months ago. I set
up redirected folders for the Windows 7 Workstation users. All worked fine until
recently. Now, when several of the users create documents and folders on their

Adding markers with info bubbles
Hi All,
I am following an example of adding markers on a openlayers interface.
Having difficulties when trying to add markers into a custom tiled map. Is
there anyone that can help me?
If you need more info, I can provide the code.
Thanks,

running Cox regression model for 1000 markers
HI All,
Sorry to bother you.
I have a data matrix with 1000 genes in rows and 100 samples in columns; I need to run Cox regression model for each of the 1000 markers. I know how to run Cox regression model for individual marker. Does anyone know a R package or method to run Cox model for those 1000 markers and then output results in a data frame?
Thank you,
Ding

Track Markers?
Hello.
I have tried filing this as a support request, but have not received any reply in 3 weeks now so am trying this route instead.
I hope this is okay.
We are trying to talk a record label into offering FLAC streams for a band, and they have finally agreed to do this.
Trouble is, the albums have segues - no silences between tracks - and the label want to only offer whole albums.
Therefore -

Darker markers for symbols in lattice
In lattice, using the command trellis.par.get for superpose.symbol, plot,
symbol and/or dot.symbol shows that we can specify alpha, cex, col, fill
(for superpose.symbol and plot.symbol), font, and pch. Trial and error
shows that the font affects letters but not pch=1 or pch=3 (open circles
and plus signs.) I want to use open circles and plus signs, keep the colors
and cex I've specified but

Calculating Linkage Disequilibrium for Microsatellite Markers?
Dear R helpers,
I am trying to test for linkage disequilibrium (LD) in R between all pairs
of loci. Importantly, my loci are microsatellites and have up to 30
alleles per locus. Do you know of any R packages that can either (1)
calculate measures of LD directly or (2) test for the presence of LD within
a statistical framework? Every package I have run across seems to be only
able to handle

soundforge 4.5 cannot paste audio
I'm on osx 10.6.4 using the newest version of wine bottler. The wine site says sound forge 4.5 works and everything does except when I try paste audio from a file into itself or anywhere. I get an error that the source sample rate is lower than the destination and it asks if I want to continue. Then it also asks if I want to mix the file down to mono if the audio is mono or mix up to stereo if

ggplot2 barplot: extra markers in graph
Dear List,
(self-contained example + version info at the bottom)
I'm having trouble producing a barplot using the functions in ggplot2. When I use the position="dodge" option, the bars are plotted but also a number of spurious markers. More specifically, a number of black dots are plotted in the graph that should not be there. This behaviour is not seen when calling the same

GIS Image coordinates / markers?
Hey everyone,
Is there Rails support for something like Google Maps, but using my
own images/maps?
Basically, I''d like to have my own maps/images, be able to drop
markers on them, center on certain attributes etc.

Questions about image link file and CUE sheet
I would like to be able to select which tracks I like to play from
cdimage-file. So I mean that if I have some flac-file with CUE-data and I
like to make playlist for winamp with tracks 1, 3 and 7. How I can do that?
With image link files this would be easy, just select link files 1, 3 and
7. Is winamp plug-in having any features for CUE-sheet?

cue generation under linux and cdrdao
Greetings,
I really love the one flac per cd idea. So, I pulled all my cds out of
storage to re-encode them. I've run into a couple of general issues
here:
I've done some comparisons between eac under windows, and cdrdao under
linux. It seems that after converting the cdrdao data to .wav, both
programs result in perfectly identical .wav files for the 3 cds I
tested. However,

not that I know of. the metadata parsing is not too bad but
writing data back can get hairy. probably the best thing

Cue Sheet Library?
Is there any kind of standalone library for working with cue sheets?
I could rip the code out of some other library that uses cue sheets -
and libflac would be a candidate - but it would be best if there was a
library just for cue sheets.
This is only sort of off-topic. I have the idea for a program, that
would have the option to produce flac files.
Thanks for your help,

Cue sheets/Tagging question
You should read the manual for the FLAC command line utilities.
There are many options that would probably achieve what you desire.
In particular, one of the links that I sent below clearly leads you
to a page describing how cuesheets are related to the SEEKTABLE, and
you can create a --seekpoint= marker for each track.
Sometimes you really need to take the time to read everything

Decoding via API from a single FLAC file using a cue sheet
Hello,
I have currently many of my CDs ripped to FLAC to replay them from the
computer. In most cases, there are single files for each track on the
CD. I like the idea to rip the CD to a single track and add a cue sheet
to the metadata which was recently discussed on the list.
How would I access specific tracks using this approach by means of the
FLAC (or FLAC++) API in my own decoder
