clang 10 -Wimplicit-fallthrough
Hi. I upgraded my main build host and the clang -Werror builds started failing. This is because clang 10's -Wimplicit-fallthrough doesn't understand /* FALLTHROUGH */ but rather requires __attribute__((fallthrough)): clang -Wall -O2 [...] -Wimplicit-fallthrough [...] -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=600 -D_BSD_SOURCE -D_DEFAULT_SOURCE -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -c /openbsd-compat/base64.c

RFC Enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough for clang as well as GCC
Great! Thanks everyone for the input, I'm going to start splitting up the patch. I'll send out the non-mechanical parts separately. lpc slowdown
I have noticed lpc slowdown both in encoding and decoding, not related to new config.h stuff. It seems there is wrong choosing of fastest possible version of lpc function. Patch is attached. -- Miroslav Lichvar -------------- next part -------------- Index: src/libFLAC/stream_decoder.c =================================================================== RCS file:

[PATCH] fix compile errors with asm disabled
The #endifs are mismatched, and my builds were failing because lpc_restore_signal* weren't getting declared. I've also commented the endifs to make them easier to match. Also, is there any reason #ifdefs for FLAC__HAS_NASM and FLAC__CPU_IA32 are separate and nested the way they are and not combined like this?: #if defined(FLAC__CPU_IA32) && defined(FLAC__HAS_NASM) I'm not

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: mark expected switch fall-through
In preparation to enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough, mark switch cases where we are expecting to fall through. This patch fixes the following warning: drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/nouveau_bo.c:1434:53: warning: this statement may fall through [-Wimplicit-fallthrough=] Warning level 3 was used: -Wimplicit-fallthrough=3 This patch is part of the ongoing efforts to enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough.

const issue in FLAC__lpc_compute_residual_from_qlp_coefficients (libFLAC/lpc.c:233)
Hello, I just tried to compile libFLAC (using Borland C++ Builder 6 on Windows). The compilers yells at me on line 233 of libFLAC/lpc.c *(residual++) = *(data++) - (sum >> lp_quantization); --> data is const and cannot be modified Funny thing is, if data is declared: const FLAC__int32 *data instead of const FLAC__int32 data[] everything is ok. Is this a bug in my compiler, or

Cannot build master
Do you really need to build the C library for MLIR? If so, it looks like it's just a missing dependency - MPFR library. Or if you do have that library available, it's missing expected features.
