Hi, all, I'm a newbie to ext3 file system, but what a pity if ext3 could not shrink after containing files and subdirectories get deleted. If the ext3 directory could not shrink, then another natural question is: can the deleted directory entries be overwritten by new files/subdirs? The following is an example to detail my question: Suppose a directory named myDir hold 3 files a, b, c.

I can now load and play AIFF, WAV, and OGG files using libsndfile and libao. Now I'm moving on to loading and playing files embedded in an IFF file. This is presenting a problem. I'm syncing a download directory, where various programs drop their files. I would like to exclude partial firefox downloads. This could be accomplished by excluding "foo" and "foo.part", iff "foo.part" exists. How can I accomplish this with exclude rules? Or would I have to generate the rules dynamically, by some script.

I don't know where it comes from, currently there is just 2 patches with the new functionality : mapper implementation in clang and in the runtime. Plus the patch for unified memory.
