Problems in flac-website Git files.
1) changelog.html "Add ability to handle utf8 filenames on Windows (large set of patches from Janne Hyv?rinen)" AFAIK Windows internally uses UTF-16LE, not UTF-8. IMHO it's better to use a general word 'Unicode' instead of 'utf8'. 2) documentation_bugs.html "The following are major known bugs in the current (1.2.1) release:" 1.2.1 is not the current

Wrong warning in encoder for 24bits WAV
Hi Guys, I've just faced a wrong warning trying to encode a 24 bits WAV file if(wFormatTag == 1) { if(bps != 8 && bps != 16) { if(bps == 24 || bps == 32) { /* let these slide with a warning since they're unambiguous */ flac__utils_printf(stderr, 1, "%s: WARNING: legacy WAVE file has

Showdown -- A javascript port of Markdown
Hi, I've just posted the first public version of Showdown, a full javascript port of Markdown. It's 10KB and works in all major browsers. Try out the sample app: <http://www.attacklab.net/showdown-gui.html> Full source code is available: <http://www.attacklab.net/showdown-v0.9.zip> All the heavy lifting is done by the browser's regular expression engine, so

flac-dev Digest, Vol 100, Issue 42
"Aren't Windows users accustomed to this feature being missing anyway?" I use Mac mostly now, but when I used Windows, now and then I always expected the wildcard to work, it just worked on most things so it was actually a bit of a pain in the ass when it didn't. Patch to add buffering to decoding too
I made some changes to the previous patch. I don't know why I originally didn't put the output buffering to piped output too but that is now moved to cover both file and pipe output. Additionally this patch informs the Windows filesystem in advance about the decoded size to eliminate NTFS fragmentation. Bug: flac --replay-gain thinks that I used --no-padding
If I use flac to encode with the --replay-gain option, I get a warning about the --no-padding option... "NOTE: --replay-gain may leave a small PADDING block even with --no-padding" ...even though I'm not using --no-padding. And the file does end up with a small padding block, so changing tags is slow. I'd fixed this bug in my own copy of flac 1.1.4, but forgot to submit the

Annoying semi-bug in flac
Dear all, I use flac a lot and find it really useful. However, there is one slight issue that keeps bugging me. When encoding/checking files with long filenames, you get output like this (usually much longer): 30 Gardiner, John Eliot Monteverdi Choir, English Baroque Soloists - 30 Recitative Und sie kamen eilend.flac: ok 21 Gardiner, John Eliot Monteverdi Choir, English Baroque Soloists - 21

[PATCH] Fix fuction prototypes/definitions with void argument
Hi, the patch below fixes function prototypes/defintions with void argument to shut up the heartful warnings by recent gcc :) It doesn't cover all places, e.g. test directories. The patch is to 1.1.2. Patch to add buffering to decoding too

[PATCH 0/5] Debian patches for 1.1.3
Hi Josh, Here are all the patches that are currently applied to the Debian packages for flac. You may disagree with some of them but as the current maintainer, I'm submitting them all for your consideration. (I should've submitted them earlier, but I've been quite busy. Sorry!) Here is a listing of the patches that I'll be sending: Patch 1 fixes a simple typo in metaflac

make dllimport/dllexport attributes work with mingw (and others)
The following patch changes export.h so that the dllimport/dllexport attributes work with mingw/mingw-w64 and others: - changes _declspec keyword to __declspec: the former may not be defined by some toolchains. - changes the _MSC_VER condition to universally _WIN32: MSVC, as well as GCC supports this. Attached patch: declspec.diff Regards. -- O.S. -------------- next part --------------
