Shorewall 2.2.0 Beta 7 Addendum
I missed a couple of new features:
1) You can now use the "shorewall show zones" command to display the
current contents of the zones. This is particularly useful if you use
dynamic zones (DYNAMIC_ZONES=Yes in shorewall.conf).
Example:
foo:/etc/shorewall # shorewall show zones

Shorewall 1.3.14a
This is a roll up of the following fixes:
* There is an updated rfc1918 file that reflects the resent allocation
of 222.0.0.0/8 and 223.0.0.0/8.
* The documentation for the routestopped file claimed that a
comma-separated list could appear in the second column while the code only
supported a single host or network address.
* Log messages produced by ''logunclean'',

updated:

Shorewall 2.1.1
My new DSL line came complete with a new Modem that is
configured/monitored from a web browser. That inspired me to add a
couple of new features to to the masq file which you can find in 2.1.1
(see attached release notes, New Feature 2).
The modem has IP address 192.168.1.1 and is connected to eth0. My local

Preparing for Shorewall 2.2
Shorewall 2.2.0 is expected to be released in the February/March
timeframe so it is now time to begin thinking about preparing to
upgrade. This is particularly important for those of you still running
Shorewall 1.4 since support for that version will end with the release
of 2.2.
For those of you still running Shorewall 1.4, here are some things that
you can do ahead of time to ease the upgrade to
