Shorewall 2.2.0 Beta 6
Ok -- I''m wearing the brown bag tonight (I''ve airmailed one to Tuomas as
well :-) ).
The IPTABLES patch had some problems when IPTABLES was not set
in /etc/shorewall/shorewall.conf. Beta 6 fixes those (I hope) and also
corrects a rather obscure problem with "shorewall add" when the "mss"
option appears in /etc/shorewall/ipsec.

Shorewall 2.2.0 Beta 7 Addendum
I missed a couple of new features:
1) You can now use the "shorewall show zones" command to display the
current contents of the zones. This is particularly useful if you use
dynamic zones (DYNAMIC_ZONES=Yes in shorewall.conf).
Example:
foo:/etc/shorewall # shorewall show zones
Shorewall-2.2.0-Beta7 Zones at foo - Sat Nov 27 9:18:05 PST 2004

More about Shorewall 2.2.0 Beta 5
If you encounter strange problems with the Beta then either set IPTABLES
(in shorewall.conf) to point to the iptables binary that you normally
use or download and install the ''/sbin/shorewall'' program from CVS
(Shorewall2/ project).
