FLAC Test files
a test suite for FLAC would be great, but where do I find it? (I'm sorry
if this might be obvious to everyone else, but I can't seem to find
anything)

FLAC Test files
When you download the full source for FLAC and read the instructions,
you'll see that 'make test' will run the test suite. The
instructions warn people that this can bring even a good machine to
its knees, and it is not recommended for everyone to run it. I have
run it because I have submitted an installer package for Mac OS X,
and it seemed prudent to take the time to test

FLAC Test files
I thought the "test" part of the source was like a unit test for the
whole FLAC package and not exactly what I was looking for. I'm more
interrested in if diffent bit in flac files will still have the right
amplitude when I play my files in my implementationn, and if I'm mapping
multichannel files to the right speakers is done corrently in my
implementation.
But what

FLAC plug-in for Adobe Audition
Has anybody found the plug-in for Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit)
decodes just fine, but doesn't seem to compress?
I've tried saving .wav files to the compressed FLAC format in Adobe Audition
& they appear to be the same size as the uncompressed .wav. The FLAC
frontend works perfectly for me, & I can compress through Exact Audio Copy
successfully... just not in Audition.

`[` not recognized as a primitive in certain cases.
Dear,
I have noticed this problem while looking at the following question on
Stackoverflow :
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/42894213/s4-class-subset-inheritance-with-additional-arguments
While going through callNextMethod, I've noticed the following odd
behaviour:
mc <- call("[",iris,2,"Species")
mc[[1]]
## `[`
is.primitive(`[`)
## [1] TRUE

?typeof? is your friend here:

[1] "special"
so mc[[1]] is a symbol, and thus not a primitive.

plotting planes and lines in wireframe()
Hi R-helpers
I would like to plot some planes which are perpendicular to the x-y
plane, such as x=y. Is there a way to do this in wireframe? I realize
that I am not plotting a function of x, y since there are infinite
number of z's that satisfy the above relation.... Hmm...
Somewhat related, I would also like to plot a line in 3 d space...
Finally, if you are feeling really brave, I

Ogg Frog Progress
Hi,
A while back I posted an announcement of my grand plans for Ogg Frog, a
GPL audio package. Twice now I've announced planned ship dates on the
website, only to miss them because of such life events as career changes
and moving cross-country.
I've started working on it again after a hiatus of several months, but
this time won't pre-announce any more ship dates. Instead,

Manipulations with CO2 dataset on R
Hi,
I just started a new course this semester on R, I never used it in my life and i'm stuck on these questions from 3 days, it would be really nice if someone could explain me the answers with the relative commands.
thanks a lot in advance
The following 7 questions are based on the CO2 dataset of R.
1) How many of the plants in CO2 are Mc2 for Plant?
2) How many are either Mc2 or Mn2?

Cue Sheet Library?
Is there any kind of standalone library for working with cue sheets?
I could rip the code out of some other library that uses cue sheets -
and libflac would be a candidate - but it would be best if there was a
library just for cue sheets.
This is only sort of off-topic. I have the idea for a program, that
would have the option to produce flac files.
Thanks for your help,
Rippit the Ogg

Ogg Frog 1.0 feature set, release date set
I expect to release Ogg Frog 1.0 for public alpha test on Saturday,
August 12. The date might slip a little depending on how my current job
hunt goes; if I get a job sooner than I expect, I'll have to cut back on
my development which has been full-time for a while now.
The planned features are detailed at the page where the downloads will
eventually be found:

overriding rest show route but not delete
hi, lets say routes.rb has
map.resources :foo
and I want the show action to have a diffent url, so I add (after the
above line)
map.foo ''/bar/:id'', :controller => ''foo'', :action => ''show''
this works fine, including foo_path( :id => "1") => /bar/1
and <%= link_to ''Show'', foo %>

Introducing Pysa - Reverse your servers’ configurations!
Greetings all,
I’m leaving this message about the development of a new configuration
reverse engineering tool: Pysa.
Pysa aims to help anyone who wants to replicate an existing configuration
and not simply clone the entire machine.
It can be use to migrate configurations from one computer to another (as
physical machines to virtual clouds), backup existing configurations, or
any other migration

Bug#810964: [BUG] EDAC infomation partially missing
Initially reported to debian
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=810964), redirected here:
With AMD Opteron 6xxx processors, half of the memory controllers are
missing from /sys/devices/system/edac/mc
Checked with single 6120 (dual memory controller) and twin 6344 (2x dual
MC), other dual-module CPUs might be affected too.
Booting plain Linux (3.2, 3.16, 4.1, 4.3), all memory
