unable to send mails via postfix/dovecot SASL
Hello,
I have a freshly setup postfix/dovecot mail server (after a server
upgrade I decided to change my sendmail/popper conf to something more
modern :)
It mostly works, there is no problem in sending/receiving mails in local
network, both using text clients like mutt or pine dealing with the
incoming/outcoming mail directly. Also dovecot works fine with SSL
authentication from the outside

Converting to 1.1.4, help please!
I know it has been discussed in the past but not being a hard-core techie
the instructions were not entirely clear to me.
I have many GBs of FLAC files which I created using EAC and FLAC version
1.1.2 with FLAC Frontend.
I personally ripped my entire CD collection of over 1200 discs so I really
want to get this exactly right the first time.
I want to convert them to version 1.1.4 but need

flac error with some aiff files?
flac.exe is choking on some aiff files as input with the following:
"ERROR: SSND chunk size inconsistent with sample frame count"
According to Daren on the dBpoweramp forum "The flac.exe program ignores
the amount of data bytes quoted in the SSND chunk and tries to read to
the end of the file, which would be fine if the SSND data was the last
data in the file. The problem is

CIFS with Kerberos and client signing
Hi,
I'm trying to mount a Samba share on Linux 2.6.10, using samba-3.0.7.
The authentication is done using Kerberos V5, on a Windows server.
The share is located on a Solaris server that uses samba-3.0.10.
Authentication with Kerberos is functional (I can get a ticket
using kinit(1)).
The server requires client (packet?) signing. The admins in charge
of the server refuse to make it

issues with folder redirection and synchronisation
I have a samba/ldap PDC with a netlogon share and a samba member server
(called sirius) with Profiles and homes shares (samba 3.0.14).
Each user in the LDAP database has its sambaHomeDrive attribute set to "H:".
I'm trying to follow
http://samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-Guide/happy.html#redirfold
to configure my XP Pro client.
It seems that I'm unable to have "folder

Help: File is present (via Samba) but cannot be opened?
When I mount a Windows XP partition (NTFS) on my SuSE 9.1 machine via
Samba 3.0.4, I find some files can be listed (via "ls") but mysteriously
cannot be opened, even though the file permissions appear fine. What
is a good way to track down this sort of problem?
Here's an example where I "cd" into a samba-mounted directory and try to
open a file that I know is present. It

close then select of stderr fd in client (openssh)
Under certain circumstances (repeatable with a workaround) the client in
openssh-2.1.1p3 and p4 closes file descriptors and then calls select()
with the stderr one in the write fd_set. The circumstances which cause
this appears to be that the closing of stdin/stdout/stderr occurs before
the last of the stderr data is written to stderr.
This occurs when a tty is not allocated, but the error

[LLVMdev] Make a comparation with IR builder
Hi Justin,
my class is a visitor pattern and I use accept method to go recursive in
suboject in my AST.
In locals I store AllocaInst pointer.
void *visit(var1_init_decl_c *symbol) {
llvm::Type *lType;
varNames.clear();
varType = "";
symbol->var1_list->accept(*this); /* get a vector contains variable names */
symbol->spec_init->accept(*this); /* Store in
